Katsuki leaned his side against the wall of the elevator. Little-by-little his strength is coming back, but somehow it's still not enough. It doesn't bother him that he's weak, but it bothers his family. He was scheduled to return to school the next day, but with his slow improvement they might never let him leave. He doesn't understand why they would care as much as they do. Well, he does, but it's not like they're helping either. All they do is stare at him. Katsuki wants to go to school as well. As much as he is grateful for the mansion, he wants to meet other people. He wants to know more about his school life, understand his teachers, his interests, and his life before this. It frustrates Katsuki how little he knows. At first it hadn't been a problem, he was enjoying his stay at the hospital with his guard and the girl from the garden, but when he had gotten to the house he was focused on not causing trouble for the owners. He figured that with time they would tell him tales of himself, answer his questions, and regain himself, but no. They never tell, they never answer.

It goes black.

The lights are out. Katsuki was startled, even jumped a bit -as much as his body would let him. He looked around the small box. It wasn't as dark as he thought it would be. Everything was illuminated with a red glow, he was still able to see. He wondered if the elevator had stopped too. If it had, he wouldn't have felt it. He sighs. Maybe he was imagining it, maybe there just was a vent near him, but Katsuki felt at the same time a cold breath against his neck. He shudders, but doesn't move. He tries to keep his body as still as he can, staring down the panel of buttons. The lights turned back on and he blinked in the bright beams. He looks behind him to find nothing, but Katsuki would later swear that he could hear a breath being taken next to his ear. For now, Katsuki thinks he was caught in his imagination. He can hear muffled chatter from behind the door, he has made it to the floor. As carefully as he can, he pushes himself off the wall and adjusts his crutches. He makes his way to the gate and the double doors slide open, revealing the small group of workers. Their eyes landed on Katsuki and they bowed. One of them, a guy, went up to the gate and pulled it to the side, folding it in on itself. Behind the man, the rest of workers moved to the sides, creating lines, while still maintaining their bow.

Katsuki nods. As he made his way off the lift, one of the women spoke, "Good afternoon, Sir Katsuki."

"Good Afternoon," they follow.

Katsuki nods his head again, "Hello." He doesn't think he could ever get used to being called sir. They straightened themselves, but did not enter the elevator, even as he passed them. He turns his body slightly, opening his mouth and closing it, furrowing his brows and expressing a short hum.

"Is something the matter, sir?" Another woman asked. Katsuki looked at her, his gaze falling down to her uniform. She wore a dress, a version of the suits the men would wear. He looked at another woman, she wore a suit. He wondered if there was a reason for the difference. Their hair had also been styled differently, the one with a dress twisted her hair into a bun while the other had her hair up and falling against her neck in a ponytail.

"Are you busy?" Right as he said it, Katsuki knew that was the wrong question. How could a worker answer that? If they say they are, sure, they're doing their work, but it sounds as if they are talking back. If they answer no, they're lazy, even if she was extremely busy she can't refuse an order. At least, Katsuki doesn't think so. He could see the look of uncertainty on her face while everyone glanced at her, waiting for a response. "I'm sorry, that wasn't what I was trying to ask."

The woman took in a breath, thinking of a response. "Is there anything you need help with, sir?"

Katsuki nodded, he shifted himself to face the woman entirely instead of having only his head turned.
