Undyne: W-Well...maybe not the greatest. You are, Blue. Because of everything you’ve done. You’ve done so much for all of us.

Blue: You’re great too, Undyne. Don’t forget that.

Undyne’s blush deepened at his words, her heart doing an awkward flip. She didn’t know why his simple words affected her so much, but they did.

She felt a warmth spreading through her chest, something she wasn’t used to. Was this admiration? Respect? Or something more?

Undyne: T-Thanks...[Looks Away] I-I mean, it’s not a big deal or anything! But....thank you

She stayed there, resting her head on Blue’s shoulder in silence, unsure of what to do next. Part of her wanted to talk more, to say what was on her mind, but she didn’t know how to put it into words.

How could she explain the way he made her feel, this sense of completeness? Instead, she closed her eyes and let the moment stretch on, comfortable in the strange, peaceful silence between them.

Blue, as always, remained calm and steady, offering the quiet presence that Undyne didn’t know she needed.

Undyne: What is this? What am I supposed to do with these feelings?

But for now, she decided not to think too hard. For the first time in a while, she allowed herself to simply enjoy the moment.

The next day arrived, and Blue, Papyrus, and Flowey were making their way to the local shopping center. The streets were bustling with people, humans and monsters living together in harmony, something that would have been unthinkable before.

Blue walked calmly beside Papyrus, who was full of energy as always, carrying Flowey in his pot. Flowey, however, was far less enthusiastic.

Flowey: Why the hell did you drag me out of the house?! I could be doing literally anything else right now!

Papyrus: BECAUSE IT’S A GOOD DAY, FLOWEY! JUST LOOK AT THE SUN! IT’S SHINING SO BRIGHTLY, AND THE SKY IS CLEAR! WE NEED TO ENJOY THIS DAY TOGETHER!

Flowey rolled his eyes, not sharing in Papyrus' boundless optimism.

Flowey: Yeah, great, the sun. It burns my petals. I should be back at the house...maybe messing with Sans or something.

Papyrus: OH, FLOWEY, YOU'RE SO SILLY! WE'LL BE BACK HOME BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, BUT FIRST, WE NEED TO GET SOME ESSENTIALS! YOU CAN’T AVOID SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR GREAT FRIENDS!

Flowey: Oh, joy....my life’s dream.

Blue: You didn’t have to come, Flowey.

Flowey: [Sighs] Don’t remind me. Papyrus dragged me out, and I’m pretty sure he’s stronger than me when I’m stuck in this stupid pot.

Papyrus: OF COURSE I AM! I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS! BUT DON'T WORRY, THIS WILL BE FUN! WE’LL GET THE ESSENTIALS AND THEN WE CAN DO SOMETHING MORE EXCITING!

As they continued walking, Blue remained quiet, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. He had been living with Sans, Papyrus, and Flowey ever since peace had been restored.

Their house had become his home, and though his android nature made him different from the others, he felt a sense of belonging with them. They were, in a way, his family.

The shopping center loomed ahead, a large, busy place full of people and stores. It was still a bit strange to see monsters and humans mingling so easily, but Blue appreciated the progress that had been made.

He knew that his and Frisk’s efforts had helped make this peace possible.

Papyrus: Now then....let's see....I need to pick up Spaghetti ingredients, some cleaning supplies, and-oh! I KNOW! WE CAN LOOK AT THE NEW SHOES FOR MY BONE TROUSLE DANCING!
