After our duet I realized two things.
1. Music is really food for the soul.
2. For a nerd Nathan has a nice voice.
Just saying.
Nathan wants to sing alone but I'm not sure; he might seem so confident now but who knows, when the music starts he might freeze again and have a break down on stage or hurls on stage? Well if that happens it'll make an awesome YouTube video and who knows he might get famous, well I'll leave the stage for him so he can do his thing.
When I got to my table I remembered my camera was recording every thing that happened. I gave Nathan an encouraging smile, he nodded confidently
"Heyy everyone, I'm Nathan and I'll be singing 'Cheerleader' by Omi".
"When I need motivation
My one solution is my queen
'Cause she stays strong
Yeah, yeah
She is always in my corner
Right there when I want her
All these other girls are tempting
But I'm empty when you're gone
And they say

Do you think I'm pretty?

She is always right there when I need her x2
Wow Nathan sounds great, but he's been looking at me ever since he started singing.
Wait?
Is he singing to me? Nah,! it's just my imagination.
She walks like a model
She grants my wishes
Like a genie in a bottle
Yeah, yeah
'Cause I'm the wizard of love
And I got the magic wand
All these other girls are tempting
But I'm empty when you're gone
And they say
Every one looks at me and it's kinda awkward. I feel like I'm in a Disney movie and everything is in slow motion. Matt notices Nathan's singing to me and scowls. He looks really pistes off, I don't know what's his problem.
Do you need me?
Do you think I'm pretty?

And I'm like no, not really 'cause

The song ends, everyone claps and cheers for Nathan. He bows and gives the crowd one of his dazzling smiles, his eyes twinkling with excitement and his hair dishevelled.
He looks like a rock star.
Yeah right.
Then something really bad happened.
Matt walked up to Nathan with an unamused look on his face, every where went quiet.
"So the nerd can sing. We're all clapping cause that torture you call music is finally over. You don't belong here, why don't you go and play those your nerd games instead of torturing our ear drums," Nathan tried to respond but no words come out.
"Or should I take you out myself," he started cracking his finger and grabbed Nathan by the collar trying to swing a punch.
THATS IT! Its time to do something crazy.
I quickly grabbed a strawberry smoothie from the counter and sneak behind Matt.
"Why don't you just cool off," I yell as I pour the smoothie on his head.
Every one gasps in shock and starts laughing, before Matt could turn around to strangle me Nathan grabs my hand and pulls me towards the exit. I grab my camera and run away frantically.
