Gravity—the damned gravity that Pucci wouldn't shut up about—suddenly shifted. The air itself seemed to lurch as an invisible force pulled them upward with a violent jerk. Loose debris floated around them, disoriented in the sudden change. It felt like the entire world had turned upside down.
Jotaro acted instantly, grabbing Marena and Shizuka, holding them close to his body as they began to rise. Meanwhile, Jolyne and Giorno braced themselves, finding footholds in the jagged ruins beneath their boots.
Then, just as quickly as it began, it was over. Gravity snapped back to normal, and their feet slammed back into the ground. Requiem had taken hold, temporarily nullifying Pucci's ability within the area. Giorno smiled slightly; in that brief moment of disarray, he saw it—Pucci's location.
Far in the distance, among the objects still drifting lazily upward, a figure caught their attention. It wasn't Pucci or one of Donatello's minions. No—it was the unconscious body of an old woman.
Jolyne glanced at her father, and the briefest look passed between them. No words were needed. They knew exactly what needed to be done. Without hesitation, Stone Free lashed out, grabbing Jotaro's arm.
"ORA!"
Star Platinum responded instantly, launching Jolyne through the air with terrifying force and precision.
Jolyne soared through the distorted gravity, her body twisting and unraveling mid-air as she reached for the unconscious woman. Only her upper body remained intact when she grabbed hold of her great-great-grandmother's limp form before beginning to reform, her lower half knitting itself back together as she reversed the damage and pulled them both toward safety.
They plummeted toward the ground, the weight of gravity crashing down on them once more. But Star Platinum was already there. His fists were a blur, and in one swift motion, he caught them before they hit the ground. Jolyne landed gracefully, cradling the old woman's body
"We need to move quickly. Pucci won't give us another chance like this," Giorno said. "They can wait in the crypt. Jolyne, you should go with them."
Jolyne bristled at his words, her brow furrowing in frustration. "Why? I just killed a full-fledged vampire, in case you missed it. I'm more than capable of—"
"You know why," Giorno interjected, his voice dropping into Italian. His gaze drifted meaningfully to her stomach.
"Screw you. There's no way we'll have peace until he's dead," she replied venomously, also switching to Italian. "And besides, being threatened from the womb? That's practically a family tradition."
Giorno opened his mouth to reply, but Shizuka's voice cut through the tension, sharp with unease.
"Hey, I hate to interrupt a lover's quarrel, but is it just me, or are the clouds moving too fast?"
The two immediately stiffened, instinct kicking in.
Jotaro's sharp eyes scanned the horizon, his brow furrowing deeply. "No one move," he said quietly. "Something isn't right."
The sky churned overhead, the clouds shifting unnaturally, as if in a hurry. The air grew heavy—too heavy, as though gravity itself were on the brink of another violent upheaval.
They could all feel it now: Pucci's Stand was evolving, growing more dangerous by the second. It wasn't just gravity anymore but something deeper, something that bent reality itself.
And then Marena screamed. Her trembling hand shot out, pointing at something in the distance.
Everyone turned to follow her gaze, hearts pounding in unison. As if her scream had triggered a response, something blurred across the horizon, racing toward them at an inhuman speed.
