May's POV:

Yesterday, I heard about a contest in LaRousse City so I trained for it during the night and then went the next day. I did really well but because the contest took a little longer than expected, it was starting to rain.

There wasn't a Pokémon Center in sight so I ran to look for one I could stay in. I was very cold because I hadn't brought a coat with me and I started to worry I would get hyperthermia.

As I was about to stop and take shelter under a tree nearby, I saw someone run out of their house and they were coming towards me. I couldn't see much but I did spot they had a familiar shade of green hair.

"May! What are you doing out here?" They asked.

It was Drew!

My teeth were chattering so I couldn't speak and then suddenly I lost my balance and fell towards him. He hugged me and then carried me away...

I woke up to find myself wrapped up in a rose petal patterned blanket while also wearing Drew's jacket on a comfy couch in someone's living room. I did start to panic a little as I was so cold and confused but then I felt ease when Drew came out of the kitchen next door with two mugs of hot chocolate.

He placed one of the mugs in my hands and the instant warmth was bliss. He then sat beside me and I couldn't help but blush once I remembered that he is was my crush and I've now winded up in his house.

"I see your awake," He said and smiled, "How are you now?"

"I'm just so glad to finally be in warmth," I responded and smiled back.

"What were you even doing out there?" The green haired boy asked and he took a sip of his drink.

"I was just training for the contest happening here tomorrow, but I didn't really prepare myself for this to happen..." I sighed.

"Well, you're safe now," He replied and took another sip of hot chocolate, the cream on top forming a small but noticeable mustache under his nose, "And isn't it great to see me again?"

I couldn't help but burst out laughing from the sight of his cream mustache and also because I felt a little hysterical from the coldness I had just been in. I then sighed and got up to look out of the window.

The rain was getting really bad outside and who knows what would have happened if Drew didn't live here and had spotted me?

I then turned to Drew who was now stood next to me and had been watching window view as well and smiled.

"Thank you for coming to my rescue and saving me," I said.

"No worries, I wouldn't be able to bare it if you were to have collapsed out there," He responded, "Sure it would mean I would have one less strong opponent to worry about tomorrow-"

"Oh you!" I retorted and nudged him playfully.

"...But I love you," He continued, "And no one I love should have to suffer if I have the chance to save them..."

"Drew..." I responded, "I love you too..."

We both blushed and were stunned into silence. I couldn't believe he liked me back and I wasn't sure what to do next.

But luckily enough, he made the first move and kissed me on the cheek. My face went even more red but I turned to face him and returned the romantic advance by kissing him on the lips.

We were both very tired by that point and the rest of what happened before we fell asleep on the couch was a blur but, I'm glad he was the one to save me and that we shared that lovely moment...
