The Ocean

The ocean is a cool abode for sponges, crabs and fishes.

Toss a seashell to the waves and tell her all your wishes.

Show her respect; follow her rules,

Or you’ll see a side that’s cruel.

A blue-ish hue she shines all day,

Forever sending waves your way.

Inhale, exhale at a steady pace,

Some tides can rise up to your face.

Laugh and smile when by her side.

Submerged, the ocean comes alive.

Steal a conch to hear her sing,

A smile to your face it’ll bring.

She’s gentle, graceful as a dove,

So give the ocean lots of love.
