Mornings with him were pure chaos wrapped in love.

You had been brushing your teeth when he burst into the bathroom, Bluetooth speaker blasting old-school R&B. He had been dancing—badly—in his boxers, holding his electric razor like a mic.

"You sound flat," you said through a mouthful of foam.

"Nah, I'm soulful," he shot back, spinning so hard he knocked over your moisturizer.

You rolled your eyes but couldn't help laughing. Mid-spin, he had pointed at you.

"See? Knew you couldn't resist the charm."

But then there was the quiet stuff.

Like how he just knew when you were having a rough day. No questions, no pressure. Just a warm meal, a blanket, and his arms wrapped around you. "I got you, baby. Don't worry 'bout nothin' tonight."

Or those nights when you woke up from a nightmare, gasping for breath, and he was already there, rubbing your back, whispering, "It's okay. I'm here. You're safe."

And you believed him. Because when Sam said he was here? He meant it—in every way that counted.

▶ His kisses felt like he was memorizing every part of you.

Sometimes quick and playful, other times slow and reverent—like he was grounding himself in the feel of your lips, your laugh, your warmth.

And afterward? He always rested his forehead against yours and said, "Damn, baby... you really ruin me. But in the best possible way,"

When you fight? It was never cruel.

He listens—really listens. He'd let you yell if you needed to. But he never walked away or shut down.

"Look, I ain't perfect," he said one night, voice low but steady, "But I'm here. And I'm stayin'. 'Cause you're my woman, and I ain't lettin' you go. I want a future with you—no games, no bullshit. So, let's fix this, right here, right now. You hear me?"

You nodded heart in your throat.

"Good. Now, come on, baby," He reached out his hand, and you took it without a word.
