06. Goodbye

Stefan-

I ran my fingers through the side of Elena face admiring her natural Beauty taking in every detail. It's funny after all these years, here we are, somehow together. I moved a strand of hair from her face as she moved her head a little showing that's she awake and going to get up. She fluttered her eyes open and her brown eyes landed on my green ones. She lightly smiled and sat up

"What happened?" She looked around and her hands roamed around the bed sheets and looked back up at me

" you fainted, are you okay?" I asked tilting my head to the side causing her to lightly chuckle

"I think..... I'm not dead am I? " She joked Making me laugh "where Damon? "

I sigh,

" They went to go check up on Bonnie, no news" I tell her as she nodded slightly looking away

"Hey?" I question sitting on the bed next to her "What's wrong?"

She looked up at me, her big brown eyes shinning and right now it feels perfect like nothing can happen

" be honest with me, did anything happened between Bonnie and Damon since I've died?" Somehow I knew this was bond to happen.

"I don't know, even if they were it's not in my position to tell you but him" She sighs nervously

"You and your kindness" She laughed making me chuckle a little. My phone started ringing blaring in our ears, I took it out and pressed Answer on the caller who I didn't even both to look at the ID.

"Hello?"

"Stefan it's me " Damon ringed through the phone. I placed the hand on the speaker on the phone and looked at Elena "it's damon" I lightly said. She nodded her head and came closer to my side trying to hear our conversation

"What's wrong Damon? Did you find Bonnie? Is she okay?" I questioned him with question after question

"No" I could hear this voice cracking " s-shes dead stefan". I looked Elena and she looked at me shocked, she walked to the bed and took a seat. Bonnie is dead?

"What do you mean Bonnie is dead Damon?" I questioned

" as in she did suicide--"

"--No!" I heard Caroline yell through the speaker phone. I heard some shuffling as in Caroline grabbing the phone from Damon

"Stefan, Bonnie didn't kill herself, she couldn't have! Someone killed her" the words replied in my head for awhile now. Why? Why did they kill her?

" I'm on my way" I said and hung up and went to Elena who has tears in her eyes

"Elena" She looked up at me, tears slipping out of her eyes

" I caused her death! Stefan she died for me " Elena cried u shook my head grabbing her hands with mine

"She didn't! Elena Bonnie got murdered " I tell her as her eyes widen " it's not your fault! Don't blame yourself, we're going to catch the sick bastard that killed her"

"He must of killed her to get me alive! There must of been a purpose for everything stefan! What if Kai never died??? What if he's alive lurking though the trees watching us everywhere " Elena said looking around as if she's paronoid
