13. Confrontation

Elena-

Stefan carried me bridal style into my bedroom and I couldn't help but chuckle because this reminded me of the old days, when we use to date.

"Stefan?" I giggled and he chuckled and looked at me while holding onto my thighs, something came over me and I don't know why but, I kissed him. We broke apart and both of our eyes widen once realization hit us, I bite my lip and Stefan looks at me.

"Stef--" he cut me off by smashing his lips onto mine, I layed down on my bed and he hovered on top of me and started kissing me. The sensation rushed through my blood making it boil. Our hands were like electricity ones our hands made contact with each other skin.

I woke up with the sun burning my face, I felt someone arms wrapped around my waist and turned to notice it was Stefan. Images from last night flooded through my head and a smile crept upon my lips. He suddenly fluttered his eyes open and I guess he remembered what happened and not just the clothes that's all over the floor proved it, but once he looked at me, he knew. He sits up quite quickly and removes himself from the bed, a blanket wrapped around his body and he looked at me.

"Elena, I-I- Uh, shit" he cursed and left out the door. I couldn't help but smile. I'm too happy.

I got out of bed and took a shower, coming out I added jeans a shirt and I put my hair down and straight. I walked downstairs and I enter the kitchen and I see everyone except Stefan, Katherine and Damon.

"Hello,love" I smiled at Klaus. Klaus hasn't been such a pain, I can tell he really likes Caroline.

"Hi"

I grabbed toast with jam and a cup of coffee that Caroline is brewing. Once I finished, Stefan comes down minutes later, his hair wet and I immediately stare at him. His eyes lock with mine and I smile biting my toast.

"Hello mate" Klaus said towards Stefan and Stefan greets him with a hello.

He takes a seat across from me, I smile at Stefan while biting my lip

"Hi Stefan" I smiled

"Uh, Hi...Elena" I get up and walk to him, kneeling down to him

"Come with me....we need to talk" I tell him, he swallow and nodded. We both walk to the living room and take a seat.

"I'm sorry " Stefan blurts out.

"What?" I was shocked

"For kissing you. I shouldn't have"

"I kissed you. It's fine" I bite my lip "I wanted you to"

"Oh"

I giggled. I lean in and peck his lips softly.

"What about Damon?" He asked

"What about him? We broke up" i said

"I'm not your re-bound?"

I sigh,

"Stefan your not a re-bound, your more then that to me. I came to you first when I woke up! I wanted to see you not Damon." He nods and smiles.

Damon-

"Dammit Katherine, I've been here all day, reading these useless books that have absolutely no words. I'm going inpatient." I groan throwing a book across the room and hearing a thud. Katherine smirked and came closer to me

"I know your intense because of your witch affair since Elena was gone,but she died and she's gone. If I find out who killed her, it won't bring her back!" Katherine said staring intensely at me

"I know! I just...I'll have closure knowing the person who killed her will be dead, suffering and asking for his life." I clench my fist.

"Elena Is alive, isn't that good enough?"

"No! Because bonnie died for someone that already died!"

"Your a soulless basterd! What happened to 'I'll kill Bonnie just to save you'?" I sigh, she said it wrong

"Idiot, I said ' if it comes down to you and the witch again I will gladly let bonnie die. I will always chose you'"

"Plus,that was before I fell for bonnie" I admit. I had a fling with bonnie, their admit it.

"You what?" Shit. I turned around and a saw a distress Elena, her arms folded across her chest "you were sleeping with my best friend!" Elena shouted

Stefan came upstairs and so did Caroline and Klaus, they all looked at me like what I did was wrong.

"Dude! Seriously?" Klaus said scrunching his nose up in disgust.

"Shut up! Your dating Barbie here..." Caroline gasped and narrow her eyes at him.

"We're really not dating" Caroline defended herself. She looked at Klaus and looked down.

"Is it bad for them to date? Klaus had a thing for Caroline and Caroline is just returning the feelings back!" Stefan argued and looked at me with anger

"When Elena died, you seriously went after her best friend!"

"WE BOTH LOST SOMEONE WE DEEPLY CARED FOR!!!" I shouted

"SO DID I, YOU HAD ME! I LOVED ELENA, SHE WAS MY FIRST LOVE!" Stefan shouted until Katherine coughed "First REAL love"

"Sorry that I didn't want to go to you for comfort but yes, Bonnie and I had a relationship" I Admit

"Did you ever love me?" Elena finally spoke but once I tried to come closer she back away and went to Stefan side and that made me curious

"What's going on here?" I pointed to them two "What's this?"

"What?" Caroline said looking at Stefan and Elena, them both moving sway from Elena and Stefan and stared at them both

"You guys are awfully close. Did you guys sleep together or Are dating?" They both tensed up at my question and that's when realization hit me.

"I can't believe this, you guys are asking me questions about Bonnie and I when, you guys clearly slept together. Did you ever love me Elena?"

"How could you even say that?? I loved you but you didn't pay any attention to me, I was lonely and my feelings for Stefan never left! I admit it, we slept together!" Elena said making me glare at Stefan

Caroline on the other hand looked betrayed and Katherine looked surprised and Klaus was....nothing.

"Believe it or not, that kind of love never dies" Klaus smirked like he knew they would find a way together.

Caroline walked up to Stefan, she stared at him until she slapped him "You played me! Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted it to work for us, a one point I wanted you but my heart was somewhere else." Stefan admitted, his cheek bruising.

"Kinda saw that coming! Believe it or not....you guys were....Epic." Caroline softly said

"Wow! Dammit Stefan...I thought you might have wanted me" Katherine chuckled making him chuckle. I narrow my eyes

"Screw all of you! You're all messed up! I'm out!" I snapped and walked away but before that I punched Stefan in the nose.

Stefan-

"Ow, Gently" I said as I felt Elena hands nib my nose carefully.

"Hm...are you okay?" Elena softly asked making me nod. I wrapped my arms around her waist drawing her in my chest. I can smell her lavender and vanilla making its way to my nostrils.

"I am now!" I mutter as I turned her around and she landed on the bed with me ontop of her, she giggled and I pressed my lips to her.
