18. I don't understand

Katherine-

I peaked my head through the door and my heart litterly sinks, Damon and Elena hugging. Are they together? What about Stefan? I don't understand anything. Why would Damon want to be with a weak human? With a mortal? That isn't like Damon, at all. I should know since I known him for so long. Why am I jeleous? Ugh. I hate jeleousy and I especially hate being jeleous.

I walked away, my head low until I felt someone tug on my wrist. I turned around and saw Damon, staring at me. I moved a strand of hair from my face and looked back at him.

"Yeah?" I asked I can barely speak.

"Tell me, Katherine...did you ever love me?" Damon suddenly asked making my eyes wide

"Wh-aa-at?" I stuttered

"Did you ever love me? I need to know because....since the day we made love, I couldn't take you out of my mind. It's unbreakable and I'm pretty sure we are not siren together...just something is drawing me back to you...like before." He admitted. I couldn't help but hide the smile that's forming on my lips, but I remained calm.

"R-Really?" I asked and he nodded, filling the gap between us. His hands cascading the side of my face, my eyes slowly closed. The sudden rush I'm feeling when I feel his lips pressed to mine, made my heart warm, the electricity running through my body. I finally feel...alive. wrapping my legs around his torso, we collided to my room, heading it to the bedroom where we made, sweet sweet love.

Stefan-

I entered Elena bedroom, she was reading a book. I chuckled seeing the human side of her. She puts her book down and cock an eyebrow at me

"What's so funny, Salvatore" She wondered. I put my hands up in defeat, going to the side of her bed.

"I just love knowing your human" I confess making her smile

"Really?" She asked making me nod

"Yeah, remember the day you said goodbye to me and you took me hiking?" I questioned and she nodded smiling

"How could I forget"

"Well, you reminded me that I didn't want you to become human, but truth be told...I was happy because...then, I could have you forever." I admitted. She bite her bottom lip

"You rather have me as a vampire?" She sounded hurt and I didn't want that, I immediately shaking my head

"No...I don't because I'm deeply in love with you, I would do anything just to be with you...but, what im trying to say is that...you being human makes who you are and I fell in love with the human, Vampire but even through you broke up with me being a vampire...we managed to be together still, We found each other again with you being Human" She smiled

"I will always love you, Elena Gilbert...just the way you are" I tell her kissing the tip of her head.

"Turn me" I pull away and looked at her

"What? Elena didn't you hear what I just said?" I asked

"Yeah...I want to be with you forever" I shake my head

"We will. I'm not turning you Elena, I want you to have kids, die old. The circle of life." I tell her as she started to cry

"But I love you" Elena cried.

"I love you. Elena this isn't a goodbye, this is...a forever, because I will be with you forever" I tell her, she nodded and pressed her lips to mine, my body hovering her.

" I want you" She whispered as she reattached her lips to mine.

Klaus-

The sudden feeling of coldness hit my body, I looked around smelling the scent of cotton candy.

"Caroline?" I spoke out loud until I saw a figure, fainted one. Caroline came out with a sly smile.

"Hi, Klaus" She said. I walk closer to her, examining her. Looking if she was hurt. Giggles escaping her lips

"I'm fine. I just had fun" She smiled widely. I looked at her

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"I wanted to see you...How are you?" She bite the inside of her lips

"Missing you, if I'm honest" I tell her truthfully

" Is that so? I miss you to, come with me" She takes my hand

"Your not yourself" I tell her

"Yes I am" She said

"Caroline, I can compell you to Come back, but I won't. Your decision if you want to come back. " I tell her. She nodded.

"I'm not coming back! I like myself now, I'm not the stupid naïve little girl anymore. I'm stronger" She tells me as she pressed her lips to mine and disappeared.

I sigh,

I turned around and see Stefan, standing there. I walk to him telling him to follow me to the kitchen

"What's wrong?" Stefan asked once we entered the kitchen.

"We need to talk" I tell him.

"Okay? What's up?" He asked

" I have a little piece of potion to make you become Human, you need to drink it." He raised an eyebrow

"What?" He seemed confused,so I confessed that I was hearing in their conversation.

"Seriously Klaus?" I laughed

"Yeah...you want it?" I offered

"What's the catch?" He asked

"I want Caroline back..."I confessed

"I do to. Thank you Klaus" he tells me as he gives me a hug. I pulled away,

"I always knew you and Elena will fall in love again," I tell him making him smile

"Why did you have it?" He asked

"Rebekah wanted to be human, early birthday present but knowing she is happy, she doesn't need it." I admit making him smile. My smile faded once I thought about Caroline

"We Will get Caroline back. I promise" Stefan tells me, I nodded.
