Lumielle cleared her throat softly and glanced away momentarily to find her composure. "...It worked."

"Really?" Daisuke exclaimed, arching one brow in surprise. "But I didn't feel anything."

Without a word, Sinister Granny summoned a mirror. "See for yourself."

Daisuke approached, feeling a tinge of disappointment that his transformation didn't emulate that of Sailor Moon's. But when he spied himself in the mirror, that minuscule thought dispersed in an instant.

"You're kidding," he murmured in disbelief. "That's what I look like?" I'm even more shocked that I'm not rejecting this with every fiber of my being right now. Is it because even my psyche has been transformed, too? I honestly don't know how I feel about that.

"As you can see," Sinister Granny remarked with a smog twist of her lips. "The spell worked flawlessly. In fact, the situation actually turned out for the better. While the elixir would have altered your sex for several years, the accessory will instead allow you to change gender as you please."

"Are you serious?!" Daisuke snapped. "And you didn't think that was an important piece of information I needed to know before I agreed to all this?"

"Hmph!" the woman cocked her head to the side. "Well, excuse me for believing that we all had the same level of resolve to lay waste to the Mhaledictus."

Daisuke sighed noisily.

[Lumielle's Hair clip (Bounded Item)]

[Rating: Epic

Durability: 1/5

A golden hair clip adorned with raspberry-pink gemstones and set amidst silver filigree. Transformed by several types of magic by the infamous Sinister Granny, the gemstones were imbued with essence extracted from the Grimhorn Totemstaff.

This item only has a limited number of uses and will shatter once the durability reaches zero.

▪︎ Veil of Femininity]

[Veil of Femininity]

The enchantment forged from the fusion of Sinister Granny's elixir and the Grimhorn Totemstaff. It grants the extraordinary ability to temporarily transform into a woman at will, effortlessly altering one's appearance, voice, and mannerisms to a seamless degree.]

Daisuke's eyes narrowed contemplatively. The rating degraded from Unique to Epic. Initially I thought it was crazy that Sinister Granny was adept at three different types of magic, but I guess this is where the jack of all trades and master of none applies. Blacksmiths aren't obsolete, after all.

As for the missing stats, there isn't a slot in the accessory section for hair clips, so I guess that's fair—and I can only hope that I'll no longer have a need for this item before it's rendered beyond repair.

Lumielle glanced from the hair clip that neatly swept the bangs to the side of his head to his bare earlobes. "Now that you have switched genders," she uttered, sheepishly averting her gaze. "Might I recommend using the earrings you received earlier?" she blushed. "...They will compliment your disguise," she peeked at him beneath her lashes. "...And your beauty."

Daisuke lightly scratched the blush that crept into his own cheek. "Th-Thanks. I'll do just that."

Lumielle's heart skipped a beat. "A-Also!" she spluttered nervously. "You will need to adjust your manner of speech and social graces if you want to fit in without issue. I'll request Lynn to become your chaperone. A-A name!" the princess gushed. "We also need to figure out a suitable name for you!"
