Fawn's POV

"Be prepared to block any strike any mob can give you." her instructor had said. "You never know when a cow's going to shove you off a cliff."

Fawn was training at Notch Academy Middle School to overcome the evil forces of Lord Herobrine. Zombie, Ghasts, you name it, all students were taught battle techniques to protect and defend, attack and destroy.

"Why Fawn, you're one of the best student's I've had in years." her instructor exclaimed, his face glowing with pride. "Those moves are even more advanced than Beyonders could do."

The moment Sergeant Crevice said that, Fawn fell into a world of day dreaming. She couldn't wait to become a Beyonder! From other Beyonders, she heard amazing tales of building your own houses, and fighting mobs like spiders (not the ones you see in your kitchen), zombies, and skeletons (who just give skeletons a bunch of bones, more freaky than scary).

"Fawn? Fawn?!" someone shouted out, and Fawn was pulled out of dreamland, and back into reality.

"Huzah?" she asked, but soon realized that she'd not been paying attention to whatever Sergeant Crevice had said.

The instructor glared at her disapprovably. "Although your sword fighting techniques and archery are amazing, your listening skills are poor." he noted. "I said, GET OUT!"

All Fawn could do was nod and get her bags. Sword Fighting Class was almost over, and that marked Lunch for next period. As she started packing her bags and heading out of the room, she was met by an unpleasant purple aura surrounding Sergeant Crevice. His eyes had turned into slits and when he tried to talk, it came out cracked.

"Meet me at Sunset Lake at Moonhigh." he croaked out, his eyes watering. Then he blinked, once, then twice and stared at Fawn confused. "Get out then!" he shouted, and Fawn hightailed into the hallway.

Fawn didn't know what to think of what she saw. Out of all the weird things that had happened in her life, this was probably the weirdest moment she had encountered. There had been that one time that the creeper inside her house hadn't exploded, and when she was fighting a rabid wolf that had somehow got in, it 'said' "Help!".

"Ok then......." Fawn said slowly. Somebody coughed. She turned around, and sixty other students stared at her like she had just turned insane. And she had to agree. Maybe she had turned crazy.

"Hey there Fawn!" somebody called out, and soon the whole place was loud again. Fawn turned to see her best friend, Alona. She had come from the southern part of Minecraft, but had moved to The Notchland Safety Bubble. "You've looked like you've seen a ghost."

"Maybe I have." Fawn muttered. She wasn't sure what to think anymore.

"Well," Alona said thoughtfully. "We can go in the potions room. I can brew a potion up for you!"

Now Fawn was the master of sword fighting and dominated pretty much all of combat, but Alona took over potion making. She had even created a potion that caused an increase in speed and damage to mobs. Thanks to her potion, she was one of the most well-known kids and Notch Academy.

Fawn went into the room and took a glance around. She'd never attempted to make a potion after she accidently poured acid on a desk. "Case dismissed." the teacher shrieked, and Fawn went hurtling out of the room.

"How's this supposed to help me?" she grumbled, as Alona handed her a potion to drink. Alona also drank a potion that looked similar to what Fawn was holding. "Why are you doing that?" she asked.

Alona giggled. "It's so I receive your thought waves, silly!" she laughed.

Fawn stared in disgust at the putrid green potion. "Ok then..."* she said, pinching her nose, and then gulped the potion down. Immediately, she started to feel dizzy, and soon enough, she passed out.

When she woke up, she could see fear washing all over Alona's face. It was a mix of fear, disappointment, and a little disbelief. "What?" she snapped, and immediately shut up. She sounded a little different. Probably because she never passed out before.

Alona's face was grim. "I think you're Herobrine's daughter." she said.
