Kailee was not having a good day in the afterlife.

The other Angels were picking on her and she hated it.

She always wondered why she was different from the others.

All of the Angels had the brightest eyes.

Pink, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple. Heck, even white!

They were all so bright! Almost glowing!

But she had dull grey eyes.

They were not the shade of an Angel or a human.

They were the shade of an outcast, a freak.

And she didn't understand why.

"Father, why am I one to be casted aside? Why am I different?"

"Daughter, you are special. You were meant to be this way."

"I don't understand. You and Mother have bright eyes like all the others! Why did I not acquire your traits?"

"I know you may feel lonely. But you are special. Don't let any other Angel tell you other wise."

"Yes, Father." Kailee sighed.

"Daughter, I have a proposition for you." God told her.

"What is it?" Kailee curiously asked.

"Guard." He said and that was it.

She blacked out.

She opened her eyes to see she was falling.

She didn't scream but she couldn't use her wings either.

She looked down to see a green substance below her.

She then realized she was falling to Earth.

That's when she screamed.

Daniel was doing the dishes and looked out his window to the backyard.

His mom had gone out to get the groceries and he was an only child. His dad was in jail.

He was home alone.

He heard a shriek and looked out the window again to see a girl fall out of the sky and onto his lawn.

He freaked and dropped the rag to go help her.

Kailee groaned and rubbed her head.

She looked to see her wings were now working as she flapped them slightly.

"Hey! Hey!" She heard a voice call.

She looked up to see a boy with black hair and blue eyes.

His hair was shaggy and hung over his eyes slightly. His eyes were a bright sky blue.

He knelt beside her. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, I am alright."

"Why did you fall out of the sky?" He asked her.

"Guard." She remembered her father saying.

She took another look at the boy and realized he had a slight glow around him.

She was his Guardian Angel.

Her, but why her?

"I am from a place you humans call Heaven. I am your Guardian Angel." She smiled at him.
