Chapter 27

*Jordan's POV*

"Jordan... Do you still like me?"

I didn't know what to say. Why would Benny want to know that? He doesn't like me, so he has no need to know if I like him.

"Benny..." I said, quietly.

He didn't do anything. Just looked at me.

I shook my head slightly.

"Why does that matter...?" I asked, still confused at his question.

"Because... I just... I wanna know..." He said, trying to find the right words. I sighed. I just don't want to do this right now

"Not now, Benny," I said quietly, before walking away.

*Benny's POV*

"Not now, Benny," she said, before walking away.

"Shit," I whispered, closing the door.

"Benny, honey! Can you come here?" My mom called. I sighed, walking to the kitchen.

"Yeah?" I asked, still sad that Jordan walked away.

"Can you- oh. What's wrong, sweetie?" My mom asked, turning to me.

"Nothing," I said, shaking my head.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked my mom, changing the subject.

"Um... Can you please- honey, please. You know, if you're having problems-"

"Mom. I'm okay." I cut her off.

"Okay... Just... Make sure you do the right thing," she said, continuing to cook.

"Do you still need me?" I asked, after a while.

"I got it, but thank you honey," she smiled. I walked away.

"Do the right thing, Benny..."

And what's the right thing? She won't even talk to me...

"Benny!" Someone called, from behind me. I turned around to find Ham.

"Hey Ham," I said, waiting for him to catch up to me.

"Whatcha doing?" Ham asked. (Omg. I can't read that without hearing Isabella lol)

"Nothing. Just walking." I said.

"Oh. You coming to the sandlot?" He asked.

"Is that even a question?" I asked, smiling. I need to get my mind off of Jordan, anyway...

Hey!! How you like the update?? That No Escape movie looks really violent, but really good. Anyway... Please tell me how you like this! And uh... If you have any ideas at all, pm me.
