"My true intention is..." Keiichi started. "To kill you."

Naruto's pov

"Where's Sayomi? She said she'd be here..." Sakura muttered.

"I'm sure she'll come!" I told Sakura.

We were sitting at Ichiraku ramen stand, waiting for Sayomi to show up. We were here to celebrate Kakashi's release from the hospital.

"I think we should look for her!" Sakura exclaimed. "She's never this late!"

"Let's go then." Kakashi said and we started looking for her right away. We found her at the training grounds sparring with Keiichi.

"It looks like they're both giving it their all!" I exclaimed. They were just training, right?

"I don't think it's training, though..." Kakashi muttered.

Kakashi's pov

"You don't think... he's trying to kill her?!" Sakura asked. "Sayomi! Are you okay?!"

"Someone's trying to kill me, yes I'm perfectly fine!" Sayomi shot back sarcastically.

The fight continued. We tried to interfere, but there was a barrier we couldn't get through. "I'm not letting you get in the way." Keiichi said. "Just sit back and enjoy the show."

Naruto growled. "SAYOMI-CHAN! DON'T LET HIM KILL YOU! BEAT HIS SORRY ASS!" he exclaimed.

Keiichi attacked Sayomi with his sword, but Sayomi blocked it with hers. Keiichi smirked and made lightning surround his swords. Sayomi did the same and they continued fighting with swords.

Suddenly, Keiichi used a different approach. He put away his sword and started using ninjutsu against Sayomi.

Sayomi couldn't use her sword against him anymore because hers was shattered and started trying to trap him in a genjutsu, but Keiichi didn't fall for it.

Sayomi must have realized genjutsu was useless against him, because she started dodging his attacks and was trying to get closer to him. "COME ON SAYOMI!" Naruto cheered.

Sayomi was getting closer and closer and was already making handsigns. Lightning formed in the palm of her hand and she tried to hit Keiichi with it. However, Keiichi got away, but was hit on his arm.

"You're good, I'll admit." Keiichi said.

"I hate to say it, but I'd say the same about you." Sayomi said and tried to kick him but jumped away when Keiichi was about to grab her foot. She attacked him multiple times, but he stayed on defense.

Sayomi suddenly stopped attacking him and stayed on defense as well. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, SAYOMI-CHAN?! WHY AREN'T YOU FIGHTING?!" Naruto exclaimed.

Keiichi turned his attention to Naruto. "SHUT UP!" he yelled at him. "OR DO YOU WANT ME TO RIP YOUR TONGUE OUT?!"

Sayomi took her chance and knocked him out before he could say anything else. "You're the one who needed to shut up, and what you said about ripping his tongue out was just disgusting." she stated. She turned to us and smiled, but it was obvious she was exhausted.

"Ah crap, I think I'm going to--" she said before fainting.

I quickly caught her. Now that Keiichi was unconcious, the barrier had disappeared. "Naruto, can you carry Keiichi?" I asked. "He should be interrogated as soon as possible."

Naruto nodded and picked up Keiichi. He threw him over his shoulder. "He's surprisingly light..." he muttered.

*timeskip no jutsu*

Sayomi's pov

I opened my eyes and looked up to a white ceiling. I was in the hospital, I presumed. "She's awake." I heard a familiar voice.

I tried to sit up and was thrown into a hug immediately. "I'm so glad you're okay!" the one who hugged me - Naruto - exclaimed.

"Could you release the hug, please?" I asked and he immediately released it.

I looked around and saw all my friends were here. "How did you know I was here?" I asked.

"Naruto told us what happened." Ino said. "We came right away!"

"Thanks guys!" I said, smiling. "What are they planning to do with Keiichi?"

"They're interogating him." Shikamaru replied. "But he hasn't given away anything yet."

"Oto-chan is interrogating him, am I right?" I asked. "Though I'm not sure wether we'll be able to get information from him by interrogation... He is very good in recognizing genjutsu."

"W-What can w-we do then?" Hinata asked.

"I don't know." I replied in all honesty. "If we could read his mind, we could--"

"Mind reading... that could work..." a voice muttered, belonging to none other than Ibiki.

He had thrown Keiichi over his shoulder and he seemed to be paralyzed and not to mention tied up, tape covering his mouth.

Due to Inoichi's mind reading, we found out someone had locked a part of his memories from him. We couldn't find out who did this, so we needed a way to bring them back.

Tsunade examined his body in the hospital, looking for some kind of mark. When we were allowed to go inside, his private parts were covered - he had pants on, but his abs were showing.

"And?" I asked.

"I found a strange mark on his back." Tsunade said. "I'll show you."

I had absolutely no idea what it was or how to get rid of it. "I'll do some research on it." I said.

The next day

I had spent all night researching, but it did pay off. I had found out how to get rid of it and already practiced it. The idea seemed easy with my chakra control, but it was way harder than it looked like.

I used it on Keiichi a few days after I told Tsunade. I had practiced it more and the only thing I needed was concentration when I wanted to use it.

"ITAI! IT HURTS LIKE HELL!" Keiichi exclaimed while I was doing it. I ignored him and continued until I was done.

Keiichi was unconcious and woke up a few hours afterwards. He acted different, but luckily, he wasn't like he was the first time I met him. He was a bit like how he was when he was trying to kill me, only nicer and less sadistic.

"Thank you." he said. "I'll tell you everything."

He told us about him being abducted and given the mark and being ordered to kill me. He didn't tell us anything about before he was kidnapped, but we didn't need to know that anyway. "Please, Hokage-sama, let me become a Leaf shinobi. I want that to be my apology for trying to kill Sayomi."

"Fine, but as soon as you try to do anything to anyone in the village, we won't hesitate to eliminate you." Tsunade said.

Tsunade left the room, leaving me alone with Keiichi. "I'm sorry about your sword." he said. I nodded in response and looked away. "Sayomi, can you give me a second chance, please? I just want to be friends, instead of enemies." Keiichi continued.

I nodded. "I'll give you a second chance. Don't ruin it." I stated before I left him alone. "Also, don't leave the hospital, you don't want to deal with an angered Tsunade-sama."
