Kigakure

Kigakure = Village Hidden in the Trees

Sayomi's pov

I opened my eyes and looked at an all too familiar white ceiling. The hospital.

"Look, she's waking up, dattebayo!"

"Naruto, calm down, you don't want to give her a headache as soon as she wakes up, do you?"

Keiichi's right, Naruto!"

I sat up and looked at who was here. Naruto, Sakura, Keiichi, Sai, Kakashi, Kiba and Lee. All of them were shoved aside by a nurse who started examining me. "All your injuries seemed to have healed. You're good to go, but take it easy, unless you want to be at the hospital again tomorrow."

I nodded while wondering how long I've been unconcious. "How long have I been unconcious?" I asked.

"Three weeks. You've got all of us very worried." Kakashi said. "But I'm glad to know you're okay."

"Wait a second, who was Hokage while I was unconcious? Is Tsunade-sama awake again?"

"Tsunade-sama woke up soon after we came back." Sakura said.

"S-Sayomi..." Sayumi said while my hand went through her chest.

I sat up, sweating and I was breathing heavily. I let myself fall on the bed again and closed my eyes. I needed to sleep, I needed to train tomorrow.

*the next morning*

I got downstairs and noticed Chiyoko was here as well. She was talking to Ibiki about something. "Where are you going?" Ibiki asked.

"Training." I replied before I left to go to one of the training grounds.

I decided to train my Chidori today, but it didn't work out like I wanted to. I was about to hit the dummy, but my Chidori disappeared as soon as I thought about what happened to Sayumi.

I tried a couple of times, but the exact same thing happened.

After a while, I decided to stop training for a while, maybe get something to eat. I stopped by a small grocery store and bought an apple. I ate it on the way, throwing the core away when I was finished.

I walked past Ichiraku Ramen and someone called out my name. "Oi! Sayomi-chan, join us!" Naruto called out. I glanced at him and walked further, ignoring my entire team and Gai's team.

Third person pov

"She reminds me of you after the incident, Kakashi." Gai stated.

"We need a plan to cheer her up!" Naruto exclaimed. "Who's with me?!"

Everyone agreed on the idea and they started thinking about how to get her out of this depression. He's a good kid. Kakashi thought.

In the meanwhile, Sayomi had arrived at the graveyard and looked for two graves, those of her parents. When she found them, she started talking to them, teardrops falling on the stone while her monologue.

She didn't know someone was at the graveyard as well, standing in front of Asuma's grave. He looked her way and immediately noticed she was crying. He hated seeing her like that and he wanted to cheer her up, but he didn't know how.

Suddenly, someone joined Sayomi, Keiichi. "Sayomi, are you ready to go?" he asked.

Sayomi nodded. "I'm ready." she said before the two of them left. Kakashi had also seen the two leaving so he walked towards Shikamaru and the two of them followed the two Tsukinos. In the meanwhile, Kakashi told Shikamaru what happened.
