14~Found

I struggled against the chains. They broke. I shook them off. I saw a set of stairs opposite of the hatch. I went up them and went into the forest. I ran and ran until I saw the lake. I heard him running after me. I saw my teammates on the other side of the lake. I ran into the lake and swam as fast as I could. I heard a gunshot. I tried to swim but I couldn't. My body was drained of energy. I saw Morgan dive down towards me. I closed my eyes and let it take me.

Morgan POV

I pulled Emily up to the surface. She wasn't moving. I brought her to shore. Reid helped me get her onto the road. I got out of the water and started CPR. After a minute, she still hadn't moved. I kept going. Hotch and Prentiss ran over. My arms started to get tired and Hotch took over. I saw JJ look away. After two minutes, I took Hotch's place and started CPR.

"Come on Emily." I whispered

Nothing. I kept going. I heard Hotch crying. After two minutes, I heard a gurgling sound. Water spilled out of Emily's open mouth. She started coughing. I sat her up. Hotch rushed over to her and wrapped his arms around her. She was shaking as she slowly wrapped her arms around him. JJ came back over to us.

"I called an ambulance." she said

Hotch started crying. Emily continued to shake. I heard the ambulance sirens. Hotch released Emily so they could get her onto the stretcher. Her eyes were wide in shock.

"Do you mind if I ride with her?" Reid asked

"Go ahead Reid." Hotch said

Reid climbed into the ambulance and they drove off.

Emily POV

Spencer sat behind me in the ambulance. I was still shaking. I had an oxygen mask on.

"Her heart rate is rising." one of the doctors said

"I need you to calm down okay?" the other doctor said to me

I felt fingers running through my hair.

"Its okay Emily. You're safe. He can't hurt you." Spencer cooed

I looked up at him.

"Is he dead?" I asked

"Hotch shot him." Spencer said

I closed my eyes.

"I wanted to die in there." I whispered

"What?" Spencer said

"I just thought I'd tell you since I'm probably going to die anyways." I said

WHO IS THIS SPEAKING FOR ME? I thought

"Emily, you aren't going to die." Spencer said

"Emily, I'm going to need you to calm down okay? You aren't going to die I can promise you that." the doctor said

I saw my mother siting next to one of the doctors.

"She's crashing!" one of them yelled

"Mama." I whispered as a tear fell down my cheek

"DRIVE FASTER!" the doctor said

I felt Spencer's fingers running through my hair.

"Sh. Its okay baby. You can stay with Spencer and your father. I'll take care of Emma. You're not done." She said

My mother disappeared. My eyes closed.

I woke to beeping. I slowly opened my eyes. I was in a hospital room. A nurse came into the room.

"Glad to see you're awake. I'm Leah. I'll be here in the day and another nurse will be here at night. How are you feeling?" she asked

"I'm okay." I said

"You have a big group of people waiting to see you. Who would you like to see first?" Leah asked

"My father and Spencer." I said

She smiled and left. She returned minutes later with just Spencer.

"Where's dad?" I asked

"He's getting something for you." Spencer said. "Did you mean what you said in the ambulance? About wanting to kill yourself?"

"What? I said that?" I said freaking out

"Emily, what do you remember?"

"I remember seeing my mother. She said that i should stay with you and she would take care of Emma." I said as tears fell out of my eyes
