You had a shared apartment with your best friend Harry and you were thrilled living with him but he was a huge slob just like his parents have told you many times. You and Harry went to the same college until he dropped out saying that it was too much work and he hated doing a lot of work, instead he wanted to be a famous singer. You were his best friend and always supported him but his dream was just too far out of his reach

"Hey Harry!" You greeted Harry warmly as you walked through the door of your shared apartment, you had just finish classes and decided that you wanted to relax with your best friend and watch old cheesy movies with a warm bowl of butter popcorn

"Hey (Y/N)" Harry said back as he looked up at your smiling, you plopped down next to him on the couch and asked him what he was watching. He shrugged and replied

"A show about whales" You looked at him weirdly and nodded slowly as you watched your best friend closely

"No! I was sooo bored today while you were at classes!" You laughed and then said

"So why don't you come back to classes with me and you won't be bored anymore-"

"(Y/N) let's not go there...you know why I quit college because I wanted to be a singer and go touring around the world performing all over" Harry explained as he smiled as he thought of his dream

"You know I love you Harry and I support you all the time 100% but don't you think it's just a tiny bit out of your reach?" You asked as he sighed and rolled his eyes while crossing his arms

"No I don't and plus I'm working on it (Y/N) I really am! Today I met these guys that has a band they're called Niall and the potatoes and they said I can be their lead singer!" Harry explained excitedly as he was jumping up and down on the couch, you couldn't help but be excited too

"Really?! That's exciting!" You screamed as you started jumping up and down on the couch too

"So who are these guys?" You asked after you and Harry stopped jumping up and down on the sofa

"Their names are Niall, Zayn,Liam and Louis....they're really cool lads. But that name has to change though, all day I've been brainstorming names"

"We'll let me hear them!" You said as you fixed your position on the couch in crisscross apple sauce excited to hear your friends ideas

"Well I've come up with a few but this is my favorite one...it's called one direction. What do you think?" Harry asked as he waited for your response, you tapped your chin in thought and hummed

"I like it!!" You said after a long pause, Harry grinned and responded

"Thank you (Y/N) for believing in me more than anyone else has" You couldn't help but blush and shrug your shoulders telling him that it was nothing, Harry brought you in for a hug

"I love you (Y/N)" Harry told you but meaning it in a non friendly way, Harry always had feelings for you but kept it a secret scared that it'll ruin you and his friendship
