You were currently in your school cafeteria having lunch with the populars which consisted of you and your older brother who was a senior, you were a junior. Your older brother was the leader of the group sitting with you guys, their names were Zayn Malik who had a major crush on you, Louis, and Harry.

You were all eating lunch and laughing around with each other when you saw Liam your crush, he walked by with his best friend Marcel to the back of the cafeteria where they always sat and had lunch. You watched as Liam sat down and started talking with Marcel about the space time continuum, you couldn't help but melt when you heard Liam laugh when Marcel told him a joke. It made your heart flutter every time he would snort when he laughed too hard and push his glasses up when they were falling off.

Your brother and his friends had also noticed Marcel and Liam sitting at their table, Harry was Marcel's twin brother but he still bullied him like everyone else. Your brother smirked and said

"N-no they didn't do anything to Yall so Yall should just leave them alone" you said quietly as you looked up at your brother with pleading eyes, your brother scoffed and got up from the lunch table. He nodded his head in Marcel and Liam's direction, the boys knew what this meant and they cracked their knuckles as they made their way over to Liam and Marcel. You quickly got up and followed them, your brother leaned down and pushed his face in Liam's

"Hey guys-" (Y/B/N) said but stopped short when he picked up Liam's yogurt and threw it on his white dress shirt

"Whoops" (Y/B/N) said and stared laughing at Liam's reaction, you could see tears building up in Liam's eyes. You felt bad that you couldn't do anything to help him, Liam looked over at you with sad eyes as if silently asking you to make your brother go away. Zayn reached down and picked Liam up by his collar

"What are you doing looking at my girl?! You like my girl or something?!" Zayn yelled his face turning red, by now everyone in the cafeteria had gotten quiet watching the scene unfold. Even the lunch ladies had stopped serving their tuna noodle casserole to watch what was happening. You put your hand on Zayn's shoulder and said

"Please just leave him alone" Zayn sighed and threw Liam back down in his seat as he still glared at him, (Y/B/N) smiled and said sweetly

"I'm sorry let me help you get the stain out" (Y/B/N) picked up Liam's soda and poured it on his head, everyone except for you broke out into laughter. You looked over at Marcel and saw that he was pinned to the wall by Harry as harry twisted Marcel's arm and laughed when he heard Marcel's cries. (Y/B/N) took Liam's glasses off of his face and stepped on them while laughing and fake apologizing

Tears started to fall from Liam's eyes as he quickly grabbed his backpack and ran out the cafeteria, you bent down and picked up Liam's crushed Ray Bans. You shook your head at your brother as he laughed and quickly made your way out to go find Liam. But before you left you made your way over to Harry and pulled his long hair hard pulling him off of Marcel

"Ow ow ow (Y/N) let go!" You threw Harry on the ground by his hair and punched him in the mouth

"That's for bullying your own twin brother!" You yelled at him, you then shook your head and made your way out to go find out if Liam was alright. You were running down the empty hallways shouting Liam's name but got no reply, as you were walking past the boys bathroom you heard angry curses.

You took a deep breath and entered the boys bathroom seeing that Liam was wiping his dress shirt with paper towels while cursing and grumbling to himself, you slowly made your way to him and said softly

"Liam?" He turned around and looked at you with angry brown eyes, he shook his head and turned back around continuing to wipe his shirt

"What?!" You jumped when he had yelled at you, you cleared your throat and said while slowly making your way over to him

"I came to see if you were ok...what my brother did was awful and-" you were cut off by the sound of the boys bathroom door being opened, Marcel walked in and smiled at you softly

"Thank you for saving me back there (Y/N)" you smiled at Marcel and shook your head while saying

"No problem...so are you guys alright" you asked as you looked between Liam and Marcel, Liam shrugged and went back to wiping his shirt

"Yea we're alright don't worry about us...they say we're losers but we're alright with that. Thanks for asking" Marcel spoke up as smiled a wide smile, you couldn't help but return it. You saw that Liam was struggling to wipe the yogurt off so you went over to him and gently took the paper towels from out of his hands.

He looked down at you with curious puppy dog eyes and you couldn't help but blush and look down, you took the paper towels and wiped his shirt while apologizing for your brothers behavior again. Liam stared at you the whole time you cleaned his shirt, when you were finished you looked up into his chocolate eyes and quickly got lost in them

"U-Um I have your glasses and I'm so sorry about (Y/B/N) stepping on them, after school I'll buy you a new pair" you offered as you reached into your bag and took out the crushed expensive glasses, Liam sighed and took them out of your hands

"No it's fine you don't-" Liam was cut off by Marcel grabbing his hand and saying

"Will you excuse us for a second?" You nodded and watched as Marcel dragged Liam to a corner in the bathroom, Marcel slapped Liam on the back of his head and you couldn't help but snicker

"Are you stupid?! The prettiest girl in school is clearly asking you out and you say no?!" Marcel whisper yelled, Liam sighed and ran a hand through his hair while shrugging. Marcel slapped Liam on the back of his head again

"Ow! Stop doing that!" Liam whisper yelled as he clutched his throbbing head

"I'll stop when you go and say yes to (Y/N)....now go and make us nerds proud!" Marcel yelled as he pushed Liam into your direction, Liam took a deep breath and made his way over to you. You looked up at him waiting for him to speak

"Sure we could go glasses shopping after school" Liam said as he smiled and rubbed the back of his neck, you laughed and said

"It'll be fun I promise.....so I'll see you after class?" You asked as you heard the bell ring, Liam nodded and you smiled as you waved at Liam and Marcel as you walked out and practically skipped to your next class

Liam and Marcel waited until you were out of sight to start screaming their heads off and dance all over the bathroom as they sung

"Liam's got a date!" You couldn't wait till after school so you could see those big puppy dog eyes again and get to spend some alone time with him. Today was the best day ever!
