Today was yet another tiresome day, all that happened was everyone going over to Ijuuin's place to work on the manuscript. Yanase came as well.

Yanase Yuu, one of Ijuuin's assistants. He seems like the proud type but the other day, he saw Yanase crying by himself in one of the meeting rooms. It would seem that he forgot to close the door properly. The man doesn't think Yanase knows he saw him and he didn't particularly feel like telling Yanase either. Sometimes, there are moments when you gotta let your feelings out like that.

Guys I fell asleep just now so ima continue writing. Sry for the random comment. Keep reading

They continued working for a good three hours or so when the manga author decided to let everyone have a break for lunch. Everyone stretched their arms out as they got up from their chairs eating something they brought along. Some of them went out for a bit to buy food. While drinking some tea, Ijuuin went over to Yanase for a bit. Just because he was keeping his mouth shut about those tears doesn't mean he can't be worried about the man. As he walked up to him, Ijuuin couldn't help but feel there was this unapproachable air around Yanase.
"Um...Yanase-kun?" he asked awkwardly.

"Sensei? Is there something you need?"
Ijuuin couldn't help but feel that his response was a little cold. Yet, he could hear a certain sadness in Yanase's voice, a sadness that the young assistant was trying to hide.

"Is everything alright? Would you like some tea?" He handed a cup of his new jasmine tea he recently bought to him as he asked his question.

"What do you mean? Everything's fine, Ijuuin-sensei." Fine? Fine doesn't mean crying by yourself without letting anyone know what's wrong. Sensei was slightly flustered by his response, here he was worrying about Yanase yet he simply rubs it with the I'm fine shit.

"No, I mean, is work alright? The deadline's coming closer, and you work for a lot of mangakas too so I wanted to make sure that you weren't overworked or anything. I mean, theres Satou-sensei, oh and the one who's always going over their deadline, Yoshikawa Chiharu-sensei." Yanase almost seemed to have flinched at the mention of Yoshikawa-sensei's name.

"Yanase-kun?"

"What?" This time, Yanase shot an icy cold glare towards the author as if he stepped on a landmine. "Sensei, if you don't mind me saying, but it's time for us to get back to work. Knowing you, we'll probably go way past the deadline again."

"...ahaha" Ijuuin couldn't retort as what Yanase said was true. Sometimes, he would have fun drawing whatever he liked, yet he would soon become doubtful of his drawings and start all over which caused him to go way over the deadlines. But, Ijuuin couldn't help but notice Yanase trying to change the subject, did something happen between him and Yoshikawa-sensei?
"You're right, we should get back to work now shouldn't we?" He said and turned to the other assistants, "All right everyone, breaks over, let's continue."

Everyone returned to their seats and started working again. This time, Ijuuin was able to continue working without any doubts, it was strange but after talking with Yanase, the author's thoughts were clear. It would seem that worrying about others helps you forget a bit about your own pain.

They finished enough work for the day so Ijuuin had sent everyone home. Shortly after, the doorbell rang just as he was about to take a nap. He decided to ignore it since he finally could relax for the day, yet the doorbell rang once again. "JUST STOP RINGING IT WILL YOU?" And let me have some sleep he thought. "O-oh I'm sorry sensei, its Takahashi. U-um your editor wanted to give you give something as a reward for working well today for once. But if you don't want it, I could just leave it at the door here if you'd like."

He considered that, since, first of all, seeing him again now isn't something he wants. But, I have to get over this and try again, he thought. Ijuuin walked to the door and opened it for the young man. "Thanks for bringing it Takahashi-kun," he flashed a smile as he always did, "Tell my editor thanks as well, would you like to come in?" Sensei acted as usual, just like he planned on.

"Huh? Oh no, I wouldn't want to bother you...," he was probably worrying about the jealousy of his older lover, Usami Akihiko and just knowing that caused a great sadness to Ijuuin. So you still think about him, even when you're right in front of me, worrying about what he'll do, say and act.
Yet sensei flashed a smile once more, and insisted he come in, bribed him as usual with The Kan and the young man couldn't  help but fall for it. As he came in the author kept worrying about whether or not Takahashi could tell his smile was fake. Takahashi Misaki was quite perceptive, always careful of the feelings of others and that was one of the reasons why Ijuuin fell for him. While he poured some tea for the young man, he heard a loud bang at his door and he could already guess who was there. So as usual, his time with his un-requited love was interrupted. Ijuuin went to open the door and the great and powerful Usami-sensei came blasting in.

"Misaki! We're going home." He grabbed Misaki's arm by force and started dragging him through the hallway. "U-um Ijuuin-sensei," started Misaki,"thanks for the tea--WOAH USAGI-SAN WAIT! Anyway um bye!"

Ijuuin smiled and waved goodbye to the young man as usual. "Bye, Takahashi-kun."
