Anyway.
Sigh... I see my Wattpad library is ever increasing... but there are just so many awesome fruits basket fanfics! Talking of fruits basket, as I couldn't find the last two mangas in my local library, I tried to buy it from the internet. This didn't end well.
Example:
Me: Yay! Have to see how my favourite anime/manga finishes! Let's just google it... Okay, Google search Fruits basket volume 22. <3
Google: Here are results for "Fruits basket volume 22".
Me: *Clicks in Amazon* (actually more like taps-searching on my phone).
Amazon: Buffering. Annoying waiting wheel thingie.
Me: *Scowls at screen*.
Amazon: FINALLY loads up.
Me: Yay! Let's get some fruits-
Amazon: Fruits basket, volume 22. From £20.50 (Used) and £29.65 (New).
Me: Amazon and their silly typos *laughs*. What's the actual price then?
Amazon: Fruits basket, volume 22. From £20.50 (Used) and £29.65 (New).
Me: No, really. How much does the manga actually cost?
Amazon: Fruits basket, volume 22. From £20.50 (Used) and £29.65 (New).
Me: WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Basically, I have come to the sad conclusion that manga is overpriced. At least on Amazon, that is. Seriously. The highest price was £30.00 for a USED EDITION.
SERIOUSLY, AMAZON?!
I'm sorry, I'm not gonna spend £30.00 on a manga.
Oh well...
I expect I might just buy it if I can't find any cheaper sites.
Alas, being a manga nerd is an expensive habit... as I'm sure the fruba devotees who read this story will understand.
