Ashton

"I'm assuming you don't want pancakes?" I asked the boy sitting across from me as he stared at his menu.

"Of course. No pancakes could ever beat yours," he smirked.

"I hate you so much."

"Nah, you love me."

I just rolled my eyes and kept looking through the breakfast options.

"Ash?"

"Mm?" I looked up to meet his blue eyes.

"You should wear your glasses more often. They look cute on you."

"You're very flirty this morning aren't you?" I laughed.

"Who could blame me?"

"Hurry up and choose your food Hemmings otherwise I'll make you pay me back."

"But that will ruin the purpose of the date."

I almost choked on air, making him laugh.

"This isn't a date. Seriously, what has gotten into you today?"

"Not you," he mumbled but I heard.

I sat there going over previous events in my head while Luke told the waitress our orders. I thought over everything he'd said all morning. Then it his me.

"Can I ask you something?" Luke asked groggily.

"Of course you can," I replied before realising he was talking in his sleep.

"The thing is, and you can't tell Ashton. Calum, you have to promise not to tell Ashton."

I was intrigued so of course, "I won't tell Ashton."

"I-I think I, well I think I kind of like him."

"You weren't actually asleep were you?" I asked him once the waitress left.

"What do you mean?" He asked, confusion lacing his perfect features.

"Last night. On the couch."

"Ok...I'm sorry Ash but what exactly are you talking about?"

"When you fell asleep on me. You started talking in your sleep. You thought I was Calum? And you basically admitted your feelings about me?"

"Oh..." he turned slightly red, "No...I um...I can't remember that..."

"So you were asleep?"

He nodded, keeping his eyes down. It was so adorable but I wasn't going to say that out loud.

"What exactly did I say?"

"Oh it doesn't matter. You probably didn't mean it anyway if you were asleep."

We both jumped as two plates were placed in front of us.
