Death has its way of sneaking up on you. You never know when its gonna pop its ugly head at you and just whisk you away into the unknown.

And I'm okay with that.

Jennifer laid on her back, staring at her first love. He stared at her in the same way, and she feltcomplete. She was where she wanted to be.

"When are you gonna make me leave?" she asked him, and he sighed.

"To be honest, Jennie, I don't think I want to let you go now." He said sadly, and reached out to cup her cheek in his palm. "You always had a way of creeping into my heart and rooting there."

Jennifer smiled and blushed. "Tell me a story." She said softly. Jeremy smiled.

"All right. Once upon a time, there was a boy. His name was... Bob." Jennifer laughed and waited for him to continue.

"Bob had just moved into Far Far Away-land, and had just made some new friends on the baseball team. They were laughing and hanging out, waiting for the bell to ring for knight school, when Bob saw the most beautiful girl in the world."

Jeremy paused to scoot closer to Jennifer and place his lips softly on her forehead. Jennifer closed her eyes and smiled.

"When Bob first saw her, he felt his heart race inside of his chest. He'd never thought he'd ever fall in love just by looking at a girl, but he did. Bob's friends started making fun of her, calling her fat and ugly, but Bob thought different.

He went up to her and asked for her name, but she just took off running into the bathroom. He wanted to follow her, but the bell rang, so he couldn't. he saw her again walking into class, and she looked like she'd been crying. He wanted to know what was wrong with her.

At lunch, the girl's crazy ass friends came up to him and asked him all sorts of questions, but Bob didn't care. He wanted to see her again. He asked her friends about her, but they wouldn't say anything.

The girl's friends... Sandy and Rebecca, finally introduced the girl to him.

'What's your name?' he asked, trying to make eye contact with the girl, but she just stared at the floor.

She said something, but Bob couldn't hear. 'I'm sorry, what was that?' he asked.

'Jennifer.' She said, a little louder, and Bob smiled-"

"Wait why do I have to have my real name in this story??" Jennifer interrupted, and Jeremy laughed.

"Who said it was about you?" he countered, and Jennifer playfully narrowed her eyes at him. "Stop interrupting me, gosh Jen. So rude."

"Shut up." She mumbled, and Jeremy laughed again.

"Anyway, Bob smiled at Jennifer, and he spent all of lunch trying to talk to her, but she wasn't a woman of many words.

'I'm having a baseball game tonight,' Bob said, 'do you think you can come?'

Jennifer looked really shy just then. 'I don't-I don't think I can.' She said, so quietly Bob had to concentrate just to hear one word.

'Why?' he asked, disappointed.

'Because the baseball team doesn't like me.' she answered. Bob turned to look at his friends, who were laughing at Bob and Jennifer sitting together, and then turned back to Jennifer.
