The radio took a minute to connect to whatever it was connecting to. The fuzz covered up voices. Sounded like something from a horror movie.
"Kchhhh he-that sounds like a great idea-kchhhhhh" amelia looked at me with her big green eyes. I picked up the remote. And I tried talking.
"Is anybody there? Can you hear me?"
"Kchhhhh"
"Hello? Please! I have a baby!"
"Kchhhhhhhhhh"
"You want to keep an eye on this? If anybody talks to us?"
"Sure..." Lindsey said. She was probably excited to have something to do.
"Just come get me if theres somebody there" I said. Me and amelia left lindz and went twoards josh. I stopped myself in my tracks. I had finally had a fresh idea to getting us away.
"Josh, take amelia" josh looked confused but called her over. I ran over to the backroom, where the freezers and power switchers were in. I looked on every wall for a wall phone. The corded ones teenagers like lindsey and cameron wouldnt know how to use. I somehow missed it before. It was behind the door. My heart jumped. I looked at the codes.
