Anyway, I was typing my story "Finding Home" (I'm actually close to finishing that one- I just haven't been posting it here) and I started trying to figure out how people would react if a loved one seemingly came back from the dead and knocked on your door (the two characters did from their families' perspective- hey I just used a vocab word whoop)...
My first reaction would probably be "Zombie!" and I'd be slamming the door shut while having everyone gather weapons.
My second would be "Holy crap what this no logic what" or something along those lines.
My third would be "WHAAAAT *sob sob* this can't be happening but it is *sob* I've missed you so much *sob sob sob*" or something like that.
I think, ofr my story, I'm going with the last two because I don't think zombies are part of their lives... or at least they aren't mentioned.
