I turned up the radio a little bit as the rain poured hard down on my house. It was playing Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran. It was sad and slow. perfect for this moment.

"Y/n?" I heard my best friend Shawn ask.

He stood at the doorway wearing sweatpants and his favorite maroon sweater. He loved that thing too much. His hair pushed up in a quiff. Loved my best friend, such a kind. Cute boy. He makes me feel better when I'm down but I don't think he can make me feel better this time. It's been so long since I've felt this sad about something. I hope one day he finds the perfect girl because he deserves someone equally as amazing as he is. I smiled at his presence and let out a small sigh. He looked at me with a sad expression closing the door behind me. He slowly made his way towards me and sat down on the bed. My face was shaded so I couldn't see him but he was there.

"I heard about Cameron, are you okay?" He sighed.

I shook my head and looked out the window.

"He broke up with me" I sobbed feeling all the tears and emotion overflow my lungs and eyes.

"Oh y/n, I'm so sorry" he said getting up to hug me.

"It's whatever, he broke up with me because I'm fat and he's right..."

"But you're perfect, don't listen to him" he said embracing me in a hug.

I didn't hug back I just sat stood there shivering. The song on the radio ended and a new started up. It was All We Do by Oh Wonder.

"This was Cameron and I's song" I sobbed.

He held my shoulders and wiped away a tear with the pad of his thumb.

"dance with me" I sighed.

He embraced me in a hug once again swaying back and forth. He kissed the top of my head.

"I'll always be here for you y/n, because I love you more than anything in world"
