Listen to Skyfall (obviously) by Adele. It'll be good!

I felt his hands glide up the side of my soft leg as we laid in bed together. His slow heartbeat against my back as I stared at the wall.

"I have to go now" he whispered.

"Why?" I sighed.

"I have- things to do" he replied rolling out of bed walking over to his clothing laying on the floor from earlier before.

I watched as he got dressed again leaving me bare naked in my own bed.

"I have work" he said looking over his shoulder.

"Shawn-"

"Y/N, it's just my job, I have to do it, it's necessary" he replied popping his neck and knuckles hovering over me.

He looked up and down at me leaving a few kisses on my neck making me want his touch even more.

"I'll be back, I promise" he said fixing his tie and walking out of the room.

I covered my face and let out an audible sigh. He always says that, but it still worries me more than anything. I walked over to my shower running the water down my arm as I felt the heat warm my shivering body. I climbed in and washed my hair with the shampoo and conditioner soon climbing out and grabbing my towel. I brushed through my hair and pulled on my robe making my way back down the stairs as I heard the water begin to poor once again just like earlier today. I rubbed my eyes blinking away the tears that were already filling my eyes. I always worry about him, even when I shouldn't. I made my way towards the kitchen pouring myself a glass of red wine spilling a drop on my white robe. I sighed and dabbed it with my wash cloth. I heard a knock at my door and quickly walked over. I found three guys standing there with their hands together in front of them. Sunglasses covering their dead eyes. One took them off clearing there throats.

"Ms. Mendes?" He asked.

"Yes?" I nodded.

"I'm sorry to inform you, but you're husband Shawn died. He was shot by the enemy" he said blandly.

I dropped my glass sending it straight to the floor clashing and breaking underneath my feet. I swallowed hard and let the tears fall down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry for your loss Mrs. Mendes" he replied holding my shoulder.

I shook my head and hiccuped from sobbing uncontrollably. I was helpless at that point, I was right, it was too much for him, too dangerous.
