"Counselor Shawn?" a little kid said pulling at my jacket.

I turned around and smiled.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"I can't find Counselor Jessie anywhere and she's suppose to take us swimming today.

I sighed and took his hand into mine. We walked over to the women's cabin and I knocked a couple times.

"Hello?" I heard someone say through a cracked door.

"Is Jessie in there?" I asked tapping my foot impatiently.

"No, she's sleeping" they replied.

I shook my head and walked over to the main hall to talk to someone about the position Jessie is suppose to be in. I ran into a figure stumbling backwards falling on the ground still holding onto the kid.

"I'm so sorry!" she chuckled.

I looked up and met a pair of beautiful eyes.

"y/n? No way!" I chuckled standing up to dust myself off.

"Shawn!" she shouted hugging me.

"How how have you've been?" I asked.

"Mr. Shawn! I'm gonna go with Ms. Roberts over there!" the little boy said tugging at my jacket.

"Oh alright" I smiled.

I turned back to y/n and smiled.

"What are you doing here?" I asked again.

"Oh, well I'm a counselor here again" she said excitedly.

"Really!? That's fantastic" I said.

"Yeah, I missed it here when I was younger so I decided to bring back some good memories" she sighed looking around the place.

"Well I'm glad your back" I smiled.

She smiled back and nodded.

"Well I'm gonna go settle in to my cabin" she said picking up her bag that sat next to her.

I nodded and said goodbye. I headed back into the main office and smiled.

I walked over to the spot that I always went to to think about everything. I saw y/n sitting there staring into the lake.

"y/N?" I asked sitting next to her.

"Oh sorry Shawn, I know this is your spot" she said standing up.

I grabbed her hand and smiled.

"Stay" I said.

She smiled and sat back down next to me.

"Shawn, do you remember what this spot use to be?" she asked crossing her legs.

I looked at my hands and chuckled.

"This is where I had my first kiss" I said blushing.

She smiled.

"With you" I finished.

She nodded.

"I miss that" I sighed.

"You do?" she chuckled.

"Yeah! All the time honestly"

"I miss you all the time" she replied.

I looked up into her eyes and leaned in pressing my lips on hers gently. It felt right, like her lips were suppose to be there. I've never felt so in love until I met her, and then she left. I let go and we stared at each other for a moment.

"I must be sick because I felt so many butterflies in my stomach" she chuckled.

"cabin fever" I winked.
