My friend actually believes I'm gonna marry Shawn. Like honest to god she thinks that and it just hurts my heart

"Shawn?" y/n said breaking my train of thought.

"Hmm?" I asked.

"Would you like something to eat?" she chuckled.

"Oh uh- sure" I replied smiling.

She smiled back and climbed out of the window. I waited for a good 15 minutes too. I nervously bounced my knee waiting for her to come out with the popcorn. I turned on some quiet music on my phone as I looked up at the stars sitting on her roof. It was a lovely night and I had something big planned for her. She climbed through the window with the bowl in her hand munching on small pieces. She handed me the bowl and smiled.

"So what's on your mind?" She asked.

"Constellations" I replied leaning back on the blanket.

"What do you know about constellations?" She mocked.

"nothing, they're just beautiful" I smiled.

She smiled back and leaned her head on my shoulder. I looked down at her and her eye twinkled under the moon. Her soft hair tickling my face made my shiver.

"Can I kiss you?" I asked in the nicest way possible.

"What?" she said sitting up.

"Oh nothing!" I said focusing on the sky again.

"No Shawn tell me what you just said" she said turning my face scrunching my cheeks together so I'd look at her.

I sighed and moved her down.

"I asked if I could kiss you" I replied looking at my hands.

She smiled and blushed a little. We both leaned in and I did the worst thing possible. I kissed her fucking nose. I felt like such an idiot. I wanted this to be the perfect kiss.

"Oh god, I'm so sorry I wasn't suppose to kiss you're nose I was just nervous" I said tugging at the roots of my hair.

"Shawn it's okay" She giggled and shook her head.

"No it's not I wanted this to be perfect and I fucked this date up, I was trying to be all cute and shit and I-"

She stopped me by pressing her soft luscious lips on mine. I felt so relieved as my shoulders fell. She was perfect, she was mine.
