Here's a long ass imagine because I suck at updating! Okay love you song birds!

---

The sky. The wind. The air. It all felt so surreal for me to be on this plane heading to see my Aunt. I've never really liked California coming from Ohio, always too crowded. I love the people in Ohio, they're different. I wanna live there forever. I looked out the window through the clouds as they filled the sky covering the skyscrapers like a blanket of dreams. Children's dreams filling the clouds making them white and fluffy. I sighed resting my head on the small cavity as the sun finally set making it dark inside the plane.

"Y/n! How are you my angel?" My Aunt Kathy asked hugging me, lightly pecking my cheeks on each side as I slid into her black limo.

"I'm fine, and you?" I asked kindly.

"Fantastic. Are you ready to go?" She asked as I set my purse on the floor next to my feet.

"Always, will Shawn be there?"

"He should be coming over for dinner. I know you missed your friend dearly" she smiled holding my hand.

"I haven't spoken to him since last time I was here"

"Well then he'll be happy to see you" she nodded as the driver headed back to her enormous mansion that sat on top of a hill.

I looked out the window eyeballing every inch of the loud city as the noise filled my ears. I love my Aunt and one of my good friends Luke but not so much this city, Los Angeles.

We pulled into the driveway as Marshall, my Auntie's driver, opened the door for me. I thanked him as he dragged my bags into the house setting them next to my feet. I thanked him once again searching the welcoming home. My Aunt deserved this house, her long line of family invented the wheelchair. It saved her great-great-great grandfather's life. I made my way up the stairs heading into my bedroom. She always had my bedroom made just the way I like it. I'm her only niece and she insists on treating me like her own child. My mother hated it because she was afraid that Auntie Kathy would steal her baby away. But I would always reassure her that she's my mother and Auntie doesn't get a lot of visitors to share moments with her.

She lived alone, here, in her castle. Shawn would come over and help her with anything she needs. Laundry, cooking, driving. She had other people do it, but sometimes she liked the feeling of someone she knew to help her instead.

I sighed sitting on my bed eyeballing every inch of this glamourous room. It made me shiver to look at the crystal chandelier swinging above my head as the light caught some glimpse of the crystals shining them on the wall. I was nervous to see Shawn. We never talked over school because we didn't have anything in common about it. But summer is always great with him, I always have the best of times. We would go swimming late at night while my Auntie was on her yearly trip. She always has to take this certain business trip for two weeks during my break but I didn't mind being alone for a while.

"y/n! Shawnie's here!" she shouted up the stairs her small voice cracking a bit.

I listened to the clack of her heels against the marble floor as I chuckled. I slid down the side of the stairs catching my balance when I hit the bottom. Shawn stood there with his dark brown hair pushed up to the side. His chocolate brown eyes staring at me as he looked up from the ground. He had a small smirk appeared on his face. His black clothing hanging, fitting his muscles well as he smiled kindly at me.

"Hey y/n" he said in his sweet tone.

He was from Canada and was staying with the neighbors next door for 5 years. Long time I know, but it was a new experience for him and he told me he loved it here. So much to do, so much to see, in so little time. I engulfed into a hug pushing my brown hair behind my ear shyly.

"Missed you kid" he spoke.

"Kid? I'm older than you" I chuckled.

"Only by two months!" he exclaimed.

He held my shoulder and smiled again.

"Should we go eat?" my Auntie asked interrupting our awkward conversation.

We both nodded heading into her obnoxious dining room. It was too big and everything was overly decorated. Dark faded curtains hanging across the windows covered by black for a darker theme. I sat across from Shawn and my Auntie sat in the biggest chair right at the top of the table.

"So how have you been darling? Anything good happen lately? Anything new?" she asked cocking her eyebrow. "Any boyfriends?"

I choked on my water cleaning the corner of my mouth. Shawn looked up from his food waiting patiently for my answer.

"Uh I'm okay, no nothing important, I got a new car, a bug, and no- no boyfriends" I smiled nodding.

He smiled looking back down at his plate continuing his meal.

"Well I'm sure we can fix that this summer! Maybe you and Shawn can go down to the beach one day and check out the boys yes?" she cheered turning to Luke.

"If she's up for that" Shawn chuckled dabbing the corners of his mouth.

"Uh why did you get that awful thing! It's hideous!" she said tugging at his leather jacket.

"I think it's cool" I said.

He smirked and I smiled back.

"Well, you kids knows what's hip nowadays and I can't argue with that!" she chuckled sipping her wine.

"I mean Auntie, he can do wear whatever he wants, he's 20 for crying out loud" I chuckled finishing off my last bite.

"Alright, alright I get it" she chuckled waving her hand at me.

We all chuckled a little and then set our plates to the side as Steven picked them up.

"Thank you Steven" my Auntie nodded.

"Well it's getting pretty late, I'm headed off to bed" she smiled kissing my cheek and patted Shawn's shoulder.

We said our goodnights as she made her way up the stairs.

"Let's sneak out!" I said excitedly.

He looked at me confused jumping back a bit in surprise.

"What the hell no?" he chuckled.

"Please, I have really bad jet-lag. We can take her car" I smirked squeezing his shoulder as I stood behind him.

"Fine!" he rolled his eyes scooting out of his chair.

We ran to the back house quietly opening the garage door showing her shiny brand new convertible Porsche.

"I don't know about this now" he stuttered.

"Oh come on Shawn! It'll be fun!"I shouted hopping into the passenger seat.

He slid in, turned on the car, and revved the engine loudly. I smirked as he pulled out racing down the empty midnight road. He put the top down and I moved my hand with the motion towards the wind feeling the fresh air floating. I was floating again. He looked at me smirking a bit looking at me with lustful eyes. I could feel the fake clouds underneath as if I was, flying.
