(Lloyd's POV)

I can't believe Xander got his elemental powers already, this usually doesn't happen until the age of five!

"Daddy, I'm tired," Hope said ,yawning. "Maybe we should head home," Kaila suggested.

"Yeah, we should. Lets go kids," I said as I powered up my dragon.

"Yay! We're using the dragon!" Yelled Xander.

"Be quiet, Xander! Your sister is asleep!" Kaila whispered.

"Oops, sorry Mommy," he said in response.

"It's okay, dear," she replied.

I hovered my dragon slowly to the air before I flew it home. It's already been 15 years. Where are you? I think.

It's like Kaila read my mind because she playfully smacks my shoulder. "What was that for?" I whisper.

"Just to take that thoughtful, confused look off your face. It doesn't suit you, Lloyd" said Kaila.

"Yeah, sorry about that," I said.

"What were you thinking about?" She asked, moving closer to me.

"Just someone I know." I said.

"And who is that?" She asked, and then her eyes widened as she seemed regretful that she had said that after seeing the expression on my face.

"Oh, s-sorry. I didn't know it hurts to ask you," she stuttered.

"N-no its okay. You'll find out . . . Soon . . . I hope," I said.

We made it home, and I could tell Kaila was still worried. She went to her brother motor mou-I mean Jay, and handed me Hope. "I'll take them both to bed," I said, already making my way upstairs.

(Kaila's POV)

I'm still worried about Lloyd. Every time I ask him about the girl in the small frame he turns away. I need answers, I thought.

"Jay! Bro? Where are you?" I yelled. I heard an explosion coming from Jay's work area in the basement.

I ran downstairs and saw Jay covered in dark blue paint all over his head. I giggle at the scene in front of me, and walked to Jay. "What happened here and why are you covered in blue paint?" I asked, still giggling.

"I was trying to build a robot that paints walls automatically, but I failed. Again," he pouted.

"Come on, I'm sure there's one invention you've made that actually works," I attempted to cheer him up.

"One out of a thousand creations, yeah," he replied.

"Oh, well. Anyways, do you know what's up with Lloyd and that girl in the picture?" I asked.

"I actually don't know. Whenever I ask him who she is he either changes the subject or just walks away without answering," he said.

"Well, I guess he doesn't want to talk about her. Any idea why its half burned?" I asked.

"Lloyd did mention an incident that caused his old house to burst in flames, but he never completed the story," he offered.

"We need to get an answer so we can help him at least," I said.

"You go ask him, sis. He's your husband. I'm sure he'll tell you something," he said.

"You're right. Thanks, bro," I said and walked up the stairs.

I walked to my shared room with Lloyd and overheard him say, "I've been searching everywhere for you. Where are you, Luna?"

I walked in and saw him looking at the frame on the desk. I guess he's deep in thought because he didn't realize I'm already inside the room.
