Ninjago: What I've Become

Chapter 20

Im Alive! *dodges tomatoes* I'M SORRY! I had a terrible case of Writer's Block and I was lazy! I'M SORRY!!!! Up above is the best fan made TVD opening I've seen yet!  Anyway here's the update!

(Luna's POV)

I had imaged many scenarios of how me and my lost love would reunite, and it certainly wasn't like this.

I glanced at the changed​ man standing before me, and felt a wave of hurt hit me. This looked nothing like the man I had once loved.

His once shining Sky blue eyes were now replaced with Electric green eyes, with slanted eyes like that of a snake's. His once chocolate brown hair was now midnight black, reaching as far as his shoulders.

He wasn't the same, yet I still wanted to stare at him for hours; if we weren't in the middle of enemy territory, that is.

Tobias—no, Sledge—smirked at me and said "ever the same Lunamaria, you're still as beautiful as you once were".

This isn't Tobias. This isn't him.

"You can't be him, he wouldn't do something like this!" I spoke.

"You wouldn't know that would you? After all, you did run away" Sledge mocked, but I saw the hurt in his eyes. He was evil, but he had feelings too.

Sledge edged closer to me, and I stepped back. This wasn't him, yet I still felt drawn to him.

"Aw am I scaring you, my dear? I promise I don't bite" He grasped my chin roughly, his face inches away from mine. "Don't get me wrong, I still hate you; I'll exact my revenge and then I'll keep you prisoner until you fall in love with me again".

Lloyd had heard enough apparently, as he shot an energy wave at Sledge and pushed me back, growling at Sledge "You stay away from my sister you bastard!".

"Who gave you the right to order me around boy!" sledge spoke, then shot a beam of energy at Lloyd; I gasped and pushed my brother out of the way, causing the attack to hit me.

I felt my back hit the wall, and fell to the floor. I had to get up, so I attempted to stand, but fell over again from the pain.

Kaila moved to attack sledge, but also got hit; Lloyd was there to catch his wife in time.

Sledge stood above me, his shadow looming over me. His stretched out his hand to touch me, but before he could do that, a loud crash was heard.

Sledge turned swiftly in time to see the Destiny's Bounty standing outside​ through the hole it had just created.

"NINJAGO!" I heard three familiar voices chant simultaneously. The rest of the ninja had arrived!

"Nya are you okay?" Kai yelled to his sister. Nya responded with an affirmative yes.

"We heard there was a party and decided to crash it, hope you don't mind" Cole said with a grin.

"Ah, the more the merrier. Now I have more ninja to kill!" Sledge announced as he turned to our comrades.

Zane ran forward and aimed his ice at Sledge, attempting to freeze him in place.

Before Sledge could react, Cole, Kai, and Jay aimed their attacks at him and struck him.

Kaila looked like she was about to cheer, but her face fell when she saw Sledge still standing; he was laughing the typical cliche villain laugh.

Tobias had always joked about wanting to try it one day, but I never thought he'd literally be a villain.

Sledge broke the ice off his feet and grabbed a piece of it that looked sharp; he then lunged at the ninja, aiming for a place to stab them.

Cole formed an earth wave and shot it at him, shooting dust in Sledge's eyes. Sledge stepped back and tried to wipe it off.

"You dare-" Sledge's speech didn't last any longer, considering he was hit pretty damn hard on the back of his neck.

Sledge fell forward, and he didn't have the time to come up with a counter attack before Cole hit him again.

Cole looked victorious, but as soon as he felt it it was gone;  the same android from before came running for her master's aid, knocking Cole off of him.

"Master we must retreat we are out numbered" the android spoke as she broke the ice and helped up her master.

Sledge grunted, but didn't argue. He turned to me and smirked "I want you to come to the last place we met in, and come alone. I'm not so dirty as to cheat".

I knew he was lying, since when did villains ever keep their promises?

Kai was about to come up with a retort, but the android suddenly had boosters on her back. She got up and flew off with her master.

I stood up, thinking of what Sledge has said. The last place we met.

That was 3 years ago, in our special place. I haven't been there in ages, and now I was going back.

Kaila walked up to me, Lloyd at her side. "What now?" Lloyd asked me.

"We do what sledge just asked, we go to the last place I met him; there we'll defeat him, and save him" I decide, determined to save my love.

"Wait, save him?! Last I checked he was a bad guy?!" Jay exclaimed.

"Yes, but he was also my fiancé" I heard Lloyd "huh?!" In shock at my revelation, "there is a cure to his case".

"Well what is it?" Zane questioned.

I looked at Lloyd as I spoke "exactly what happened to our father, he was bitten by the great devourer".

Lloyd's face went pale.
