"I don't want this fucking bandage on me!" I complained to Hershel who just chuckled. Rick sat slightly behind Hershel who was applying the bandage.
"We'll need to lock down this cell block after this, we still haven't seen Brodie," Rick sighed. Hershel and I nodded in agreement.
"There, all done. Now, remember, be extremely cautious when moving your left shoulder," Hershel warned sternly.
"Yeah, yeah. This guy over here won't let me do anything anyway," I replied smirking at Rick. He smiled but, it didn't reach his eyes. He looked to be in deep thought.
Hershel walked out of the cell, taking his medical gear with him. He was relocating back to cell block c.
I stood up from the bed and put my hands on Rick's shoulders. He looked up at me.
"What's on your mind?" I questioned with a small smile.
"I don't understand who killed Carol, who let Brodie out and where he is now," he vented.
"You know how you said that I should've let you be the bad cop?" I reminded him. Rick looked up, frowning.
"You heard that?" he questioned, looking surprised.
"I was aware the whole time, I just couldn't open my eyes," I explained. He nodded, looking thoughtful again.
"Anyway, I think I did the right thing by not letting you kill him," I admitted. Rick gasped slightly, frowning more angrily now.
"Are you kidding me, right now?" he questioned, clearly annoyed with me.
"Hear me out before you yell at me, honestly, I would much rather you kill him with a clear mind than going in blind," I explained, sitting back down on the bed. My shoulder was still extremely painful, I get why Hershel told me to rest.
Rick sighed, "I guess but, you ended up getting hurt -- again," his voice grew louder as he spoke. I hushed him.
"Rick, I'm okay, a little sore, but okay," I assured with a smile. He smiled back, this time, it did reach his eyes.

"Daryl, I don't know what to do with myself," I sighed, looking over at the archer who was making arrows for us both. He shrugged.
"Yer basically disabled at the moment," he teased, smirking at me.
"Excuse me, that's a bit rude. I could still kick your ass, right now," I threatened playfully, trying to sound tough. He chuckled.
"I think even ye know that ye can't do that," Daryl pointed out. I nodded in agreement, smiling.
"So, how are ye and Rick?" he asked, becoming more serious. I sighed.
"Great.. Although, he's not all that happy that I didn't let him kill Brodie before but otherwise, real good," I replied grinning. He chuckled.
"I would've tried ta killed 'im too," he said, agreeing with Rick. I rolled my eyes.
"Of course you would," I smiled.
"What's that supposed ta mean, huh?" he replied, smirking -- yet again. I bursted out laughing, causing a few people to stare.
"It means that you care too much about me, like Rick," I informed after I calmed myself down.
"Girl, ye got it all wrong. I hate ye actually," Daryl admitted jokingly.
