Chapter Fifty-Nine // {jordan's pov}

My eyes fluttered open to be met with the harsh morning light. I yawned and turned over to face Rick -- or where Rick was meant to be. My eyes widened in worry.

"Shit," I cursed, throwing the sheets off of me. I quickly stripped and put on a green and white flannel and a pair of navy jeans. I shoved my shoes on and quickly laced them up. Rick was supposed to leave early in the morning. I flung the bedroom door open and rushed out of the bedroom frantically to find him. I had to say good bye.

A lot had been on my mind recently. I was going to have another sibling. I was secretly hoping it would be a boy and that we would both look after, but also tease Judith. If it was a girl, her and Judith would gang up on me.

Another thing was the fact my Dad was leaving today on mission to get rid of thousands of walkers. Which is a good and bad idea. It could go wrong so easily and my Dad would be out there! Luckily, Jordan -- My Mom, isn't allowed to leave Alexandria, according to my Dad anyway. My job is to make sure she didn't leave whilst he is gone and if he does... not come back, I have to make sure she stays here. I would step up and make sure she and the baby stays alive and healthy. I would. I had to.

"Dad!" I yelled out, running over to him. He turned around, looking slightly concerned.

"Where's Mom?" I questioned. It felt weird to call Jordan, Mom sometimes. I had to get used to it. She is my only motherly figure in my life now.

"Asleep, why?" he raised an eyebrow, completely oblivious. I frowned at him.

"You're not even going to say goodbye to her? She'll be broken if you don't come back!" I snapped. He could be so stupid sometimes, I swear.

"Carl, I will come back," he answered, glancing behind him at the cars being packed.

"No, you can't promise that. When are you going to marry her? You love her, don't you?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him. He huffed in annoyance at my questions. Good.

"Of course I do, Carl. I have to go..." Dad avoided my eyes. I shook my head at him.

"You can't do that!" I yelled, my eyes widening.

"Carl."

"I can't believe you, Dad... I thought you loved her..." I mumbled, quieting down.

"I do! I can't, not right now," he snapped, keeping his voice down. He glared at me.

"Lori is dead! She isn't your wife anymore! She cheated on you with Shane! Jordan would never do that!" My Dad gasped at me no longer calling her my Mom. She was my Mom, she always would be my Mom, but I had to move on and so did he.

"Not now, Carl. Go home, I will see you later today," and with that Dad walked off to the rest of the people going on this run. I shook my head in disgust. I thought he was over my real Mom..

I skipped every second step as I ran downstairs. I had to see him before he left.

"Mom!" Carl yelled from the living room. I stopped turning to him.

"Where's your Dad?" I questioned, worried that he had already left.

"He left two hours ago..." the teenager replied, looking down to the ground. My eyebrows furrowed.

"He already left.." I mumbled, now frowning. I walked into the kitchen, I was starving. I couldn't believe he left.
