Chapter 28

Day Day POV

This morning I got up and went to the kitchen to clean up the mess I've made last night. It was ants and roaches so i had to clean up fast.

"Need any help" Diana said creeping in the kitchen
"Nah baby I'm good go chill or sum" I said

"Last night was wonderful Day Day" Diana whispered in my ears
"It can happen again tonight girl" I whispered back.

I picked her up and sat her on the counter and started kissing her neck. I was about to dive in then my phone rung.

Me: Hello!

Tonio: Damn nigga ! But aye I got some shit to tell you

Me: whatsup?

Tonio: Charity ass done died in my living room

Me: You serious?

Tonio: Dead ass serious

Me: Thats great nigga turn up! Aye we gotta go out and get drunk tonight-

Tonio: Day Day! Chill out bruh!

Me: I'm sorry I'm just excited this bitch gone !

Tonio: But ya the police just came and took her body out

Me: We going out tonight

Tonio: Ight bet

Me: Bet hmu later tonight

Tonio: Ight fwu later

I hung up and started dancing out my skin.
"Bet you cant drop like me, cant hit dem folks like me, cant nae nae like me, cant Dlow shuffle like me" i said dancing

"Ha Ha whats going on why you so happy?" Diana said
"Charity died" i said 2 stepping

I looked up and she was staring at me. "Thats supposed to be a good thing?" She asked

"Yea Its perfect" I said
"Day Day you have no heart" She said

"You must be friends with her?" i asked
"No I-"
"Alright that what i thought" I said

I was done dancing and i went back to cleaning up the mess. I swept and threw it all away. The floor was sticky so i got up and got the mop and bucket.

"You doing slave work aint you?" Diana joked
"You bein' funny huh?" I asked smirking

"Day Day you know I be joking" she said playfully punching me.
I poured Pine Oil in the water bucket and squeezed the mop and scrubbed the floor.

The scent was so strong so i went to the bathroom and i was coughing. I was coughing for about 10 minutes and then i started coughing up blood.

"Day Day are you ok?" I heard Diana say thats the last thing i remembered before i blacked out.

Diana POV

At this point i was freaking out and didnt know what to do. The door was locked and so i couldnt get in. After 20 minutes Day Day still hasnt came out the bathroom.
"Day Day can you hear me?" I knocked softly
"Day Day!" I was getting angry so i got a screw diver and unscrewed the door nob.

When i finally managed to get it open, i open the door and Day Day was laying in the middle of the floor, eyes wide open. I dropped down to my knees and covered my eyes

I cant believe it. I stood up, trembling and ran out the bathroom to get my phone and call 911. My hand was shaking really bad.

About a few minutes later the police arrived and came to investigate Day Day's body.
Other officers pulled me to the side and questioned me about his body.

When i was explaining what I thought happened, i seen the paramedics take Day Day out in a body bag. I dropped to the floor.

"Hey get it together its going to be ok" one officer said helping me back up. I continued telling the story while the police took notes.

"Is that all you remembered?"
Officer Johnson asked me
"Yes thats it"
"Ok well thank you for your cooperation" he nodded and got in his car to leave.

I ran to the bedroom and picked up my phone. I didn't know any of his friends numbers but i did know where his friend Tonio lived.

I got my things and headed over to his house.
