I feel like a superhero,
just without the fame.
I give someone a part of me,
time and time again.
My feelings are my kryptonite,
I can't help but give too much.
I give until there's nothing left,
just limping without a crutch.
If you really need it,
i'll give you what I can.
But one thing you must understand:
I'm not superman.
I give more than I take,
but I don't ask for a return
without feeling like a mistake.
Am I that selfish for asking
for a favor in return?
My feelings are my kryptonite,
I can't help but give too much.
I give until there's nothing left,
just limping without a crutch.
If you really need it,
i'll give you what I can.
But one thing you must understand:
I'm not superman.
