Flip the page in a magazine, all these swimsuit-sporting, skinny, fit ladies adorning every page.
Saying things like "you need to have this skinny body, you need to have this pretty face."
Shamed for not weighing under 120, for not having a thigh gap or the body to show off skin I can be proud of.
Well excuse me for not being fake.
I'm useless at sports, and my fashion taste isn't exactly red-carpet-worthy, but unlike those skinny-mini models,
I'm more than a face.
I'm not very smart, but I am a talented writer. I'm not very athletic, but my future still gets brighter.
So to those women out there who don't have that perfect body and feel like they dot have a place;
You will ALWAYS be more than a face.
