Stepping on the scale again,
the disappointment never ends.
I said:
"Maybe, just maybe
if I were skinny,
then maybe, just maybe
someone would love me."
Then someone came along and said to me:
"You don't see in you what I want you too;
You only ever see what you've turned yourself into.
Not skin and bones, just ounces and pounds.
You may think I'm crazy, but please tell me: how?
how will you ever recover if you're 6 feet underground?"
That changed my life forever.
