Chelsea walked through the town, as the lights had started to illuminate the street. The bars around had started to wake up for another weekend. She watched as the people met up with their friends and walked into the buildings. No matter how much the hunger pained her, she couldn't find the best type of person to eat, so she kept on walking. She walked further down the street until she was standing outside her house. She could see in the window her family, what looked like family game night that her mother made the family play every Friday night. She stepped a little closer to the window and saw Alex on the couch, and what looked like Sophie hugging her. She could feel some emotions trying to sneak it's way in but she tried her hardest to keep them at bay. As she went to turn away, finally realising that she was no longer apart of the family, she heard the slight coughing that came from the barely light room. Chelsea jumped from the ground onto the window ledge, and pushed the window open before slipping in.

Chelsea stepped in and looked at the frail man in the bed. He coughed a little and looked at the girl in the room. "Alex?"
"How do you know about Alex?" Chelsea asked.
"Chelsea?" Pete croaked. "Is that you?" He coughed loudly, Chelsea looked at him as he held up his palm that had a blood splatter. She could feel something in her mind that pushed her to feel, to say goodbye to the most important person in her life. "My sweet Chelsea, you came to say goodbye." He smiled weakly, his eyes drooped more and his skin was pale then anything she had seen before. As he said them words, everything came round in a circle and Chelsea switched her humanity back on. She stood there for a few seconds, before sitting on the bed and cried. She cried as much as she possibly could, all the things that she didn't want to feel hit her hard, the amount of people she had killed. All the things she had said to everyone, Chelsea grabbed hold of Her fathers hands and gripped them tight as she cried. "Don't cry honey."
"Daddy, please don't go. Please don't leave me, I can't live without you."
"Im sorry my darling, but you're going to have to. It's my time to go."
"But... No. I won't let you, you can't. I can find a cure." The door opened slightly and Alex slipped it. She stood by the door as she watched Chelsea break down.
"You decided to show your face then." Alex spoke and got their attention. Chelsea whipped her head around and saw Alex staring at her.
"There... There must be... Be something we can do." Chelsea spoke through her sobs. Alex shook her head gently.
"Nothing can cure cancer, Chelsea. Especially anything supernatural."
"No, I will find a way, I'm a trainee doctor I should find a cure and a fast one. Daddy stay alive, I'll get you better." She pulled her wrist up and bit into it hard, letting some blood flow from her arm. She went to place it on her fathers mouth but felt as Alex stopped her by pulling her arm away. "No let me do this."
"Chelsea I said no! You will kill him."
"Do it." Petes voice sounded above theirs, and they looked at him. Both of their expressions the same, it was like they were a reflection of one another.
"Peter, no." Alex interjected. "I won't let you." Chelsea stayed sitting on the bed as she looked into her fathers eyes.
"Alex, I'm in pain. I'd rather get it over and done with." He looked at her. "Please." Pete begged as he grabbed hold of both of the girls hands. He coughed "My two girls. Well my beautiful daughter Chelsea and someone who looks a lot like her twin." He tried to laugh but he coughed some more blood up. "It's been a pleasure knowing you Alex, and I want to Thank you for stepping into the role of Chelsea while she was gone." He squeezed Chelsea's hand a little tighter. "I know what happened to you my sweet, and I'm not angry. I know all about this other life that you lead."
"You told him?" Chelsea snapped at Alex.
"Only because he cottoned on."
"I'm just glad that I found out now and now we can lay the secret to rest. No one else will find out because I'm the only one that knows of this. But I beg you both, help me. I'm in so much pain, I can't handle it anymore."
"Dad I can't. I don't want to."
"Then you don't have to." He looked at Alex and smiled, but she shook her head.
"Chelsea should be the one to do it, after all I am just a stranger."
"You are much more than just a stranger to this family now Alex. I want you part of it. I want you to not be alone anymore, we are your family." A few tears rolled down from Alex's eyes.
"You mean that? I've not had a family for so long..."
"I mean it. I want you apart of this family for however long you want. But please, for me. Please help me die." Pete let go of Alex's hand and took the empty glass from the side and handed it to her, nodding his head. "Do it for me." Alex turned her had to Chelsea and watched as she nodded. Chelsea lifted her hand up and bit into it, letting blood drop into the glass. Alex did the same with her blood, she handed the glass to him and watched him.
"Normally our blood heals you, but in terminal illnesses, it doesn't work. So you will feel alive for a few minutes and then it should happen. Please... Don't do it Peter. You can't go like this."
"Guys, I've been in pain for months... I want to end it before I get any worse."
"I love you dad." Chelsea whimpered and wiped the tears that escaped her eyes.
"I love you too, my beautiful girl." Alex helped him sit up more and then sat back down next to Chelsea. They waited until he lifted the cup to his lips and drunk some of the liquid. He coughed a little and then it happened quickly. Alex was right, Pete looked happier and a lot healthy then 30 seconds ago. Pink flushed his cheeks, and his pale skin turned back to it original colour, then it turned violent inside of him. He turned ghastly grey and coughed up blood, spewing it all over the bed sheets. He cried out as pain shot through him, Chelsea held Alex tightly as they watched him suffer. Pete gripped onto his chest and cried out, then all of a sudden his body went flimsy and his eyes closed. They waited what felt like forever until his chest stopped moving altogether, Chelsea broke down once more, hugging Alex even tighter. Chelsea breathed in and then all of a sudden the air in her lungs stopped, she couldn't breathe. She shot up and looked at Alex who wasn't breathing either. Alex staggered over to the window and punched through it, shattering the glass. "I.... Can't.... Breathe...." Chelsea tried to say, Alex turned around and reached over to pull her.
"Invite..... In...." Alex barely said. Alex ducked and threw herself out the window. She landed front first onto the grass outside, and took in the fresh air. Alex sat on the grass and looked up, she welcomed to fresh air into her lungs and waited what seemed like ages for Chelsea, yet she didn't appear. Now Alex had two options, she could leave the area now and never look back or she could get up and get back in that house and save her doppelgänger. Alex got up from the floor and brushed her clothes down, she went to turn until someone stopped her.
"Where's Chelsea?" Oliver stood taller than her, his eyes dark and he wasn't at all impressed about her latest antics.
"Well that's the thing..."
"What do you mean?"
"She's upstairs with Peter's dead body, and she's dead."
"What? What have you done?" He walked up to the house and went to open the door only to be stopped by the barrier.
"Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say. Chelsea hasn't been invited in."
"I don't get it... Wait, Pete was the owner of the house." Alex nodded her head. "Then who's the new owner?"
"I have no idea."
"What will happen to her? Alex we have to do something, we can't just stand here."
"Call me when you have a plan." She said sarcastically.
"You can't leave?"
"And why can't I?" She looked at him. "She isn't my concern anymore. I pretended to be her, I got her home. I'm done now."
"But Alex?"
"No Oliver. I'm done with this. I came back to this town for a reason and it wasn't too look after your stupid girlfriend. Sort it out between yourselves." She walked around him and walked away down the street.

Alex walked down the street, towards one of the diners. She was welcomed into the diner, she sat down at the table and enjoyed her food. A girl sat down opposite her and Alex looked at her. "Who are you?" Alex spoke first, the girl smirked and then closed her eyes briefly.
"I require your assistance."
"What?" Alex spoke with her mouth full, she swallowed the food, and wiped her mouth with her sleeve.
"I think you will do wonders with my plan."
"Can you tell me who you are first and I'll consider it."
"Well, I'm a witch and you are a vampire."
"Can't you be a little more quieter? I don't really want these humans to know what I am."
"Don't worry about that, I've just cast a spell, meaning we can speak freely, the humans can't hear us, and to them we've just completely disappeared. No one can see us even the precious Zoey who has just entered the establishment." Alex glanced over and saw Zoey sit on a stool. "Now will you join me?"
"Name?" Alex was blunt.
"Um, Katie..."
"Why do you want me?"
"Well you're strong, powerful and you can't die. I need someone like you on my team." Alex picked up her glass and sipped her drink, placing the glass back down she raised her eyebrows.
"What's in it for me?"
"I can show you where your daughter is." The words pierced her heart.
"What did you say? How do you know about my daughter."
"Emmaline, was very special to you wasn't she?"
"How do you know about my daughter?" Alex raised up and grabbed Katie's neck, pushing it back, Alex could feel her neck cracking under the pressure but she wouldn't stop until she got the answer she wanted. "I said how do you know about my daughter."
"Let's just say I know you. But I won't help you until you help me." Alex pushed Katie's neck and let go, lowering back down into her seat.
"Fine. What do I have to do?" Katie removed her hands from the table and brought something up. "A blood bag?" Katie placed it on the table and slid it to Alex who caught it in her hands. "Why have you got a bloodbag?"
"Well you see, this is a special bloodbag and I need you to give this to Chelsea."
"Why Chelsea?"
"Let's just say... Someone made a mistake many many months ago." Alex stared at the girl, every mannerism the girl did, made her connect the pieces together, yet she didn't let on.
"So Katie... How long have you been in town for?"
"Not long..."
"Then how do you know about Chelsea? Because she hasn't been back home for long."
"I wondered how long it would take you to catch on."
"Your presence makes me want to rip out your heart."
"Why do you hate me so much Alexandra? What did I do to you so much? Considering you made me this way, I'm surprised." Alex growled and looked at the girl.
"Why are you in a different body?"
" the wonderful Isabelle and her loving boyfriend, burnt my body to a crisp. So I'm stuck with jumping into the next available body, but I don't mind this. I'm a witch."
"What's the bloodbag for?" Alex got back onto the matter at hand. "Why does it have Chelsea's name to it?"
"I just have something I need to do, if you do this for me. I promise you, I will take you to your daughter."
"I don't believe you."
"I'm telling you the truth. Slip this into her meal, and I will take you to Emmaline."

Sophie walked into her parents bedroom, and burst into tears seeing her father in the bed. Sophie stepped
More into the room and glanced down at the floor, Chelsea's body was on the floor. "Mom! Quick it's Chelsea. She's unconscious." Sophie fell down to the floor and tried to wake up her sister, but she couldn't. "Chelsea, wake up. What's wrong?" Christine came running into the room with her phone at her ear.
"Yes, help me please. It's my daughter, she's not breathing. Also my husband... He's passed away. Okay.. Yeah. Uhhuh. Alright Thankyou." Sophie sat with Chelsea until the paramedics came and when the door knocked she was the first person down there, opening the door letting them in.
"Come in please. Quickly it's my sister, she's not breathing."
"Where's your mother?" The main paramedic said first. Sophie explained and watched him walk up the stairs. The other paramedic, a female put her hands on the girls shoulders and rubbed them.
"Your sister is going to be okay."
"Please don't lie to me."
"I'm not." Alex spoke to Sophie, comforting her. She got up from the floor and went to walk up the stairs but Sophie stopped her.
"Do I know you?"
"Nope."
"You seem familiar?" Alex shook her head.
"I'm just a paramedic. Now let me go and fix your sister."

Alex kneeled down to Chelsea's body and looked at her. She opened up the bag and slyly pulled out the bloodbag. "This'll fix you right up." She bought the bag up to her lips, and let the contents of the bag drip into Chelsea's mouth. As the time went on, Sophie watched her fathers body being taken away and the paramedics leaving because they had done their job. Well that's what Alex convinced the other paramedic to believe. She descended the stairs and let herself out. She took off the cap and let her hair fall down past her shoulders. "You alright Oliver?" She smirked at him and then ran off into the night. Oliver walked towards the door and saw Sophie still standing there.
"Sophie what's wrong?"
"I don't know..." She spoke slowly. "Come in and see for yourself."
Oliver hesitated for a few seconds before actually being able to enter the house himself, he looked at Sophie's face and then ran for the stairs.
