I haven't seen her in two weeks. I missed the announcement. Harlyn, the True Fae and leader, Aspen and I, co-leaders. "Come on son." He says. "You're letting me go?" I question. "Yes, don't make me regret it." "You won't." I run to the girls lounge hoping to see her beautiful face. "Emerson!" Her face lights up, running to me. Jumping in my arms I catch her and spin her around like in the movies. Setting her down gently. I cup her cheeks, feeling like the time is right. I lean in placing a soft kiss on her sweet lips. She smiles into the kiss. I move my head so I can see her magnificent blue eyes. "It's about time." She jokes. "But it was worth it." I kiss her once again. "I've missed you like crazy." I whisper into her ear. "I know, I've been dreaming of you since you've been taken hostage." My cheeks heat up. "It's nice to know it's just me you dream about."

"Out of the cell eh?" Kane approaches me. "I guess you can say that." I shrug my shoulders. "I've been meaning to ask you something," He sighs. "Your sister is Aspen right?" Oh here it comes, I nod my head. "Well she's been in my dreams. I think she's my soulmate just like Harlyn is yours. What should I do? I never have had a girlfriend. Believe it or not." He explains, freaking out. "Alright Kane, I got to know Harlyn first. I had her get to know me. I know it's nerve racking to just go up to your soulmate when they aren't sure who you are just yet. Harlyn had me in her dreams, you have my sister. She can feel you coming closer. She will feel when everything is right, like I did with Harlyn. And when you do get to her, it will be the best feeling in the world," And it is. "Oh and if you hurt my sister." I start. "I will have to hurt you." I give him a serious stare, as I walk away, just staring back at him. He gulps causing me to laugh.

Kane found out his power a little while ago. He appears to be an Earthly Fae, meaning he can control all the elements that are consisted with Earth, water, growth in plants, anything to do with Earth you name it. It may be an multi power, he is no True Fae. There are other just like him. Who keep our Island safe. "So that new guy." I bring up to Aspen." She looks up. "What about him?" Her cheeks flush. "You think he's a cutie, huh?" I wiggle my eyebrows. "Shut up Em!" She screams slapping my chest. "I knew it, you guys are the next big fling." She rolls her eyes ushering me out of her room. "I'll see you later meany."

After being locked in the room for two weeks, I've missed a lot. Keaton and Harlyn fought during her training hours through and through. Victoria and Jordyn figured out Kane's power before he did. Aspen, Harlyn and I along with Keaton are moving in a separate living space then where we are at. So we can talk over our future battles and leadings. Harlyn's hair started growing a streak of blue a week ago. "Emerson." Keaton walks into the room. "It's time to pack up for our new living space." He announces. "Already am." He smiles. "That excited to leave huh?" "Well I'll be getting my own room so, yeah."

The cottage sits at the peak of the mountain on the island. It is only one story. With five rooms. One for each of us and one for guests or another member of our leadership. Rick and George stand on opposite sides of the cottage making sure no harm comes our way. "This is so much nicer than the room, look at this view." Aspen says in awe. "Its beautiful." She continues. Looking out the floor to ceiling windows in the living room we can see the falls, the forest and our village all in one. We can basically see the whole island. The village lights we can faintly see as if we we're in New York during the night. "Wonder what it looks like in the daylight." Harlyn's voice brings music to my ears. "Probably just as magnificent." I reply looking in her eyes. Wrapping an arm around her. "Well I'm just going to go now.." Aspen awkwardly walks away. "Now that we're under the same roof." Harlyn pauses. "Do you feel that I am safe?" I sigh. "Not completely, knowing that the Dark Fae's are still out there. I just don't want them to take you away." I squeeze her shoulder lightly. "E, I'm not going anywhere." She whispers. She stands on her tippy toes and pecks my lips. "I promise."

Looking into Harlyn's blue eyes with the colors that have been added to them is incredible. Her dark brown hair with a newly added blue streak falls perfectly in any situation. She smiles like she can smile forever. Her voice is soothing and gives me relaxation. Her skin is soft and warm. Her laugh can bring joy to one thousand children. And the best of all, her personality is all that it should be. "Goodnight princess." I whisper following a kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight prince." She yawns closing her eyes. The moonlight against her olive skin makes her look light and lively. "Stop staring at me." She mutters. "Oh, sorry." "At least it doesn't make me uncomfortable." She looks at me with a loving smile. I can't wait to get to know her more, in life and in the relationship we have.

I open my eyes to see a different room than where I woke up yesterday morning. It's nice to have a place to myself. Some privacy for once. "Morning sunshine!" Aspen shouts in my ear as I walk into the kitchen. "Dang Aspen, what did they put into your coffee this morning?" "I put two creams and maybe one too many sugars." Harlyn replies innocently. I can't help it, I can't get mad at her. "Did you save some for me at least?" Her laugh fills my ears handing me a cup. "What's the schedule for today Boss?" Harlyn asks Keaton. "Julian has asked for us to meet up with him." Meeting up with Julian either means something bad or good. In this case, it's bad.

"Hello Leaders, please come in." Julian ushers us into his office. "Keep watch." Keaton says to Rick and George. We walk in and sit in the seating area that has a sofa, and two chairs. "So what brings us here today?" Harlyn asks. "Well I'm feeling strange, its been like this lately. It's not like when I can feel a new Light Fae coming. But when I feel them coming." "Them? Who?" She asks. "The Dark Faes." Aspen's face pales. "Exactly, we need to start preparing for war. Unless we want them to take you Harlyn, which we do not want." She nods her head. "Let's start training. But first us leaders need to talk over how this will work. Thank you Julian." Harlyn gets up shaking Julian's hand. "I don't know what we are going to do. I've only been here three weeks I know nothing about Fae battles, or whatever they are." Harlyn starts freaking out. "Like how are we going to succeed in this, how we are going to I don't even know." A tear running down her face. "Harlyn, calm down. We can do this, let us help you figure this out instead of freaking out okay?" Aspen says trying to calm her down. "Aspen is right, we know what we can do." I reassure Harlyn grabbing her hand.

"Let's get the warriors." Harlyn orders. "You mean Rick and George's people?" I ask. "Yes, if anyone can help us they can." She says walking towards the warrior grounds. "Hello Miss. Leon." Marcus the Warrior leader. "Hello, we've come to speak about the upcoming war." she starts. "The Dark Fae's are coming, and we need you are your warriors help defeating them. Are you in?" She stares at him waiting for an answer. "You want me to put my men in danger?" He looks at her as if she's crazy. "No, I am trying to save everyone on this island." "How can I trust you? You're just a child. You just became Fae so you know nothing about our kind." "Yes, but I know enough."
