Something feels different like our world turned in a different direction. The sky isn't as bright as it normally is. Fae's aren't as cheery. Something is coming for us. Another battle perhaps? When will this happen? Mack spoke to Nick finally. I can only imagine how things are with them, weird and complicated. A Dark and Light Fae romance. Then again, I can barely imagine even being something like a Fae. But I do now since I've become a leader role.

"Hey Jay." I say walking into our room. "Hey." She sighs. "Have you noticed it too?" She asks. "How different life feels right now?" She nods. "Yeah, and I don't like it." "Me either, we should prepare for another battle or at least tell everyone to keep their eyes open." She lays back down on her bed. "And maybe you can speak with Nick again, he might know something about the next move." I get up, "I'll do that now. Maybe I'll try talking to Addie too."

The room is colder than usual. "Hi Nick, so first things first. Do you know what the Dark Fae's are planning next?" I ask. He plays with his fingers. "Honestly, I have no idea. They sent me and didn't tell me what the plan B would be. But as of now, I want to stick with your side. I want to be good, for Mack." He replies. "I don't know Nick, they'd kill you." I give him a look. "I know, but Mack is worth it." He says. "Addie, she's the leader's daughter. She should have more information than I could ever give you." "Thank you Nick, we'll get you out of here soon, thanks for your cooperation." I smile at him.

"I don't know." Addie snaps. "Even if I did, I would never tell you." "Oh, but I think differently." I pause. "You can tell me, being bad isn't all there is in this world. A little help won't hurt you." I place my hands on the table. "But I don't want to help you. We want you gone." She says, intertwining her hands together and leaning her elbows on the table. "I think we're done here." She grins. "We never will be."

"Neither of them gave me any kind of information, other than that Addie is the leader's daughter." I announce. "So guys, what do we do?" "We prepare for anything and everything." Aspen says. "Let the people know." I say aiming towards Emerson. He nods his head, heading towards the front door. "This battle or whatever the Dark Fae's are planning can happen at anytime. When we're sleeping, or even when we are in the shower. So keep your eyes and ears open." I say going up the stairs. "Wait Harlyn, What do we do when we see something?" Mack asks. "We fight."

It's the time when the sunsets. It's darker than usual. The air is colder. This attack is going to be a big one. We can get through it though. I have faith in us. If that doesn't mean something I don't know what will. "Are you going to sleep?" Mack asks. I shake my head. "I can't knowing that the Dark Fae's can attack tonight. It feels different right now, I can't sleep on this feeling." Jordyn and Aspen sit up. "I guess we all are staying up then." Aspen says. It doesn't take long before we hear a loud crash. "Where'd that come from?" I ask. "I think it came from downstairs!" Mack replies. I crack the door open, I can see two Dark Fae's walking through the lower level. I quietly shut the door. "Okay, let's wait until the get upstairs then we'll get them. Text everyone in the Chambers that we have intruders, and tell them the plan. Not only that but there may only be two of them." I order. I can hear steps getting closer to our door. The door opens Mack squirts water. "Oh my gosh! I'm sorry Emerson and Keaton!" She whisper shouts. The boys shake off the water. "Did you hear the intruders?" I ask. "Yeah, we took care of them. But we have more, outside." Keaton says. I look out the window, he's right there are fires placed in some buildings and I can see some Dark Fae's outside of the Chambers. "Oh no."

We walk outside facing the ten Dark Fae's that are on the outside. "We didn't want it to come to this Harlyn. But we need you." One of the Dark Fae's say. "It doesn't have to be this way. You don't have to do this. Killing all these innocent Fae's. Of all ages, you don't have to do this." I state. "We know, but if we don't we won't get the freedom we want." Another Dark Fae comments. "You can have the freedom, if we come up with a truce, you leave us alone, we'll leave you alone." "I'm afraid we cannot do that. Our leader wants no truce, just you." The Dark Fae who was speaking before says, Using her air power to push us back. "Better give up now Harlyn. Or else more of your people will die and it will be all your fault." The boy Dark Fae taunts. "Don't let them get to you H!" Emerson shouts. A Dark Fae pushes him against the wall. "Emerson!" I scream. "Don't worry about me, run!" We all start running, the Dark Fae's start following us. Emerson gets dropped onto the ground in and pound. "I'm right behind you!" He shouts. We split up, I'm alone now. I don't know where everyone else went. "H-Harlyn?" Abby coughs. She's beneath a fallen wall from the girls lounge that's now in flames, and is broken down. "Oh my Abby." I sit beside her. "Am I going to die?" She asks, staring to the side. I try lifting the wall up by myself but I can't. "It's hard to breath Harlyn, I think I'm dying." She says calmly. "Abby, you're not going to die, you're not dying on me." I sob. Her chest stops raising to her breaths, she's gone.

At this point I have tears in my eyes. Every building is in flames. Bones of Fae's are all over. I'm hoping some Fae's were able to fly away to safety. I'm worried about Mack, who's she with who's keeping her safe. Then again I'm all alone. Addie walks up to me, two Fae's on either side of her. "You really think you could keep us locked in there forever?" Addie's voice filled with vengeance asks, the two other Dark Fae's grabbing my arms tightly. "No, but long enough to get in touch with your leader." I reply glaring up at her. She had two other Dark Fae's tie me up. "This rope isn't going to hold me for long." "Or so you think, you see we put an anti-power potion on it so you have no way of escaping Harlyn. You're coming with us whether you like it or not." She gives me a smile. "Boys, put her in the box." Addie orders. The two other Dark Fae's life me up. I start kicking my legs. "No! You don't have to do this! Let me go!"

When they threw me in the box they threw me in just right, knocking me out. I open my eyes and a piercing sound hits my ears. I blink a few times before I realize where I'm at, or what I'm in. I hear a groan at my side. "Hello? Who is that?" I whisper. Looking at the other side of the box. "H-Harlyn?" Keaton's deep voice says. "Oh my gosh, Keaton." My voice cracks. "Baby girl, I'm sorry." He says. "Why?" I ask. "I didn't come in time to save you, now we're both captured." He whispers, he sounds like he's in pain. "It's not your fault, it's mine if I just surrendered no one would be dead. Abby wouldn't be dead." A tear goes down my face. "Hey, Harlyn, this isn't your fault either, the Dark Fae's are just so jealous of what we have, which is you and Mackenzie." He pauses to catch his breath. "Dark Fae's don't have the advantage of getting a True Fae. Light Fae's do, they betrayed our Secret Keeper. Breaking the bond they had with them to get revenge on us." "I understand why they're angry. But this isn't the solution." I sigh. "I know, but they don't." Someone hits the box from the outside. "Be quiet in there!" The loud voice booms. "I-I'm scared Dad."
