It's been a week since Harlyn and Keaton have been gone. I can feel myself being eating inside without her by my side. Hopefully she's with Keaton so she's not alone. I feel her pain at night. When I'm trying to sleep. I can barely get an hour in, knowing she's in pain. I wish I could rescue her but we don't know where they are. Nick thinks he knows, but he also knows the Dark Fae's have two other secret bases other than their main one. He doesn't know where one of the secret bases are, but he knows of one. We're crossing our fingers that the secret base he knows of is the one where Harlyn and Keaton are being held.

"Okay, the Dark Fae's Base isn't too far. It's highly protected, no one gets in no one gets out. Their leader made it that way. Its domed shaped. And you won't notice it at first." Nick explains. "The only way to really get in is if I pretend to still be on their side and 'bring you guys inside.'" I nod. "We'll need our strongest Fae's here to attack them. Mack, Aspen, Jordyn and, Kane. Our group. Small enough to bring us five right?" I ask. "Yes, but I don't think we should involve Mack. If things go bad she's taken." Nick says. "I'll take my chances." Mack says. Nick's face drops. "But I don-" "Nick, I'll be fine." Mack takes his hand. "I can protect myself." She says calmly. "Okay" He sighs. "Anyways, we have to make a plan for this, things can go bad. And we might not get a way out of it. We need a plan that will work."

I can feel her pain. Someone is hurting her, I can feel her keeping in the pain. I wish I could be there, to help my girl. Why couldn't they have taken me instead? Why isn't she using her powers? What can I do, to make her feel better? "Hey Em, are you okay?" Aspen asks. "No, my girlfriend is being held captive and I have no clue of how to save her." I groan. "And the worse part is, I can feel the pain they are putting her through." I look at Aspen. She frowns, "Emerson, we will get her back. But as of now we have to stay strong for them, we can't be all depressed, Harlyn would not want that. So put up a straight face. And let's make a game plan." Aspen says, helping me up. I sigh, walking behind her. We get to the main room of hotel suite we had paid for. "Good, you got him." Jordyn says. Nick is standing by a big white board. He's already wrote. 'Operation: Get H and K.'

"I have an idea." Mack starts, waiting for us to have her attention. "I have all the powers, I can use my invisibility powers to hide us all. And we can slowly take down the Dark Fae's and they wouldn't even see us." She explains. "Wow Mack, that could actually work." Aspen's voice sounding more shocked than she probably intended. "Yeah, I was looking into the book of all the powers, I didn't even know invisibility was one of them. Now I just have to practice it." Mack says. "Focus on that, have someone help you." I suggest. "Yeah, Nick is going to help me." Mack says. Something is going on between them. "For the rest of you, think of ways to attack the Dark Fae's in a quiet manner so no one expects anything." Nick says. We nod our heads, walking back to or rooms.

Harlyn

So far we've been shocked, thrown, and starved. The pain is almost unbearable, like Emerson is healing me in the process of it all. I can feel his nerves, he's mad. He must be blaming himself for all of this. It's no one's fault other than the Dark Fae's jealousy. "You okay?" I ask. "Hurt, but I've been through worse in my times." Keaton replies. "I'd heal you but they took my powers." I sigh. "I know, I'll be fine though." He says. "I hope we will be, I really do." I whisper a tear rolls down my cheek. I quickly wipe it off my face as I see Addie approach my cell. "Hello darling, how are you doing this lovely morning?" She asks not really caring about my answer. "Fine and dandy, how about you?" I smile. She smiles down at me, "Better now knowing what we're going to do next with you two." She laughs walking away. "I hate her so much." I groan. "Me and you both."

Addie hasn't come back yet. It's been over an hour. My suspicions are rising. What are they planning on doing now? Have we completed our 'physical pain test?' Suddenly the lights in the cave shut off. "Harlyn? Are you okay?" Keaton asks. "Yeah, I'm fine. Are you?" I slowly stand up. "Yes." He replies. I hear feet shuffling outside the cell. "Who's there?" I announce. "Harlyn?" I hear mom's voice. "Mom?! What are you doing here?" I feel tears form in my eyes. "Hey, I'm here too!" Jake's voice says, struggling to lose the grip of who's holding on to him. My cell door opens, mom is pushed inside. Jack is sent in with Keaton I'm assuming. The lights turn back on. Mom's face is beaten up and her arm is bleeding. "Oh my gosh mom!" I whisper, my hands covering my mouth. "Who are you?" Jake asks. "I'm Keaton." Keaton replies. "Mom, I know." I say "Know what?" Her eyebrows knit together. "You and Keaton." I sigh, her face drops. "I meant to tell you. I just never got the time." She says. "Whoa, what about Keaton?" Jake asks. "He's my father Jake." Mom gives me an apologetic look. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you princess." A tear falls down her left cheek. "I would've found out sooner." I cross my arms. "I think we should tell them Harlyn." Keaton says. "About everything?" I ask. "Yes."

They didn't believe me at first. Until I re explained the transformation process, how your eye color may change dramatically. Which they both saw mine change. When we told mom Mack is the other twin and she didn't die, her face filled up with relief. "This is all so Crazy, and now we're prisoners in the Dark Fae base?" Mom asks. "Yeah, me and Keaton have been here for a week. Being tortured." I reply. "We're okay though. I believe that my true love, Emerson is healing me. Even though he isn't physically here to." "That is possible Har, Emerson can feel your pain, of course he's going to do what he can to help you." Keaton adds. "His love for you will be like nothing you've ever experienced. If you haven't noticed yet." Have I? Have I realized how much Emerson loves me? I think I have, he's trying to protect me when he isn't even with me. I haven't met anyone as caring as him. Or someone who can make my smile on my face double in size. Every day I will fall more and more for him. As he will with me.

Mack

It's hard without her here. When she's not with me my powers weaken. But the thought of her makes them stronger. "You can do this Mack." Nick says calmly. "I know, I'm just thinking." He nods his head sitting back down on a chair. I already am able to make myself invisible. But I'm having trouble turning other things invisible. "You can do it Mack." I hear Harlyn's voice say. She must feel my frustration. I focus on making the chair Nick is sitting on disappear with me. I close my eyes. "Oh my!" Nick shouts, leaning back making the chair fall with him. "Oh my goodness! Nick!" I start laughing. "You could've told me you were using the chair!" He shouts, laughing shortly after. I laugh again, "At least I can make something else other than myself invisible."

It takes me a couple of tries to make everyone else invisible too. "Okay, I'm done for today." I announce leaving to go to sleep. "Wait." Nick says. "I think we should tell them." He whispers. "Are you sure?" I ask, he nods. "Guys, we want you to know something." I pause. "You know how there once was a Dark Fae Light Fae affair? Well, me and Nick are the next one." I say. "I knew something was going on." Emerson grins. "So no one's going to freak out?" Nick asks. "Well you're not being a turd so no." Jordyn says. A rush of relief fills my body.

Harlyn

"Are you guy's ready for your next activity?" Addie asks. "Just get it over with." I reply. "Okay, boys bring them to room twenty." She orders. The boys grab our arms tightly. "What's in room twenty?" I whisper. "I don't know, but remember. Show no fear." Keaton says. "Stop talking." Addie shouts. A door opens. We are pushed inside. No one else is in here, just us. A loud piercing beeping noise begins. Suddenly the room starts to fill with water. "Oh no." I whisper. "They're going to try and drown us."

The water is to our shoulders at this moment, towards the top of Keaton and Jake's chest. "Man this water is freezing. We're going to be going through hypothermia." Jake groans. Our lips are blue and our skin is paleing. "When the water fills up higher, keep your head above the water, allowing yourself to breath." Keaton says. The water moves up to my neck. "We'll have to start doing that soon mom." I say. She nods her head, shivering from the cold. Suddenly the water fills up higher lifting us up off our feet. "We have to tread the water." Keaton pauses. "The easiest way to do so is to float on your back." He says. We all flip onto our backs. Floating in the water.

About ten inches separates my face from hitting the ceiling of the room. My body is weak and I can feel it shutting down. We have been floating in this room for about two hours. I don't think my body can hold up much longer, but I have to for Emerson, and my people. I have to stay strong. In one swift motion the floor opens up into a dark hole. We start sliding down in this pitch black space heading towards an unknown destination. The slide stops in a pool. "Swim." A voice says. We all swim towards the ledge. Our arms barely helping us move. Addie opens a door. "Take them back to the cells."

We get back to the cells they don't give us anything to warm ourselves up. We have to use our body heat. "I'm so cold." Jake groans. "I'd help you stay warm." Keaton pauses. "But you refuse my help." "Ugh fine." Jake grunts shuffling towards Keaton. Me and mom sit, holding each other. "I'm sorry." I say. "Honey, this isn't your fault." She says, kissing my forehead. "I just want to be back home." I whisper. "Me too." "No, I mean with the other Fae's, that's home to me. I want you to come with us, you and Jake." I suggest. "Oh, that's impossible. Me and Jake have work." Mom says. "You won't have your jobs by the time we get out of here." Keaton says. "But isn't it just Fae territory? No humans allowed?" Jake asks. "No, we have humans there, they cook our food and keep us safe." Keaton says. "But we need a new area to stay at, the island is gone, burnt to the core."
