Chapter 8

"Hey, Destiny wanna hang out after school?" Gisselle, Jasmine and Aladdin's daughter asked me.
"Gisselle we have cheer practice today so we sorta are already hanging out." I reminded her.
"Oh right, I totally forgot about practice. I thought it was cancelled sine the gym is getting cleaned." She said
"Who told you that?" I asked curiously. I had sent everyone a text saying to meet at the field instead of the gym for practice.
"Audrey sad that practice was cancelled today." Gisselle explained
"Why would she do that?" I asked
"She was probably just trying to help. I will let everyone know though." Gisselle said walking off.

"Destiny." Ben said sneaking up behind me.
"Yeah, what's up?" I asked
"Are you going to be there at the field?" He asked
"Yep." I answered
"Great. I think Jay and Carlos would appreciate some cheering and support from you girls, what do you think?" He asked
"That sounds great." I said agreeing
"Good, and did I tell you about Mal?" he asked
"What about Mal?" I asked
"Oh, I'm taking her out on a date." Ben said smiling
"That's cool, did I tell you about Carlos?" I asked him
"No, but I'm guessing he asked you out." Ben stated
"Yeah, he asked if I will be his date to the coordination." I said smiling unable to contain my happiness.
"So we both have date with the isle kids." Ben said
"How do you think mom and dad would react?" I asked
"They should be fine. Their story is basically to give others a chance. We are giving them a chance." Ben said
"You're right. You know it's weird. I always liked Carlos, but when he gave me that cookie all of a sudden I felt more confident around him and strangely I was straight forward with him." I told Ben looking back at the moment
"Yeah same thing happened with Mal." Ben said scrunching his nose something he does when he's thinking
"Mal gave you a cookie too?" I asked
"Yeah, she said they baked them last night." He stated
"Ben, do you think it was the cookie?" I asked
"The cookie?" I questioned
"Yeah, like we liked them before the cookie, but maybe they thought that they it wouldn't happen on its own." I answered Ben giving my own thoughts.
"Makes sense, maybe but lets not point fingers until we are completely sure. Got it?" Ben ordered
"Got it. See you at practice." I told Ben giving him a quick hug then going to class. I have Math with Jay and Evie lately with ten around it had been way more fun in that class. Provably because everyone else in that class was shy and did no talking. Ever since Jay and Evie got into class, the class has something different everyday.

Ben said that Jay and Carlos will be on the field so I get to talk to Carlos. I can't wait I love his voice and his smile . Plus we might get a chance to talk about the coordination. Maybe we can go on a date. I wonder if we will become official. Wow! I am moving really fast. Maybe I was right about the cookie. But Ben is right we shouldn't point fingers until we know. But honestly I think that even If I didn't eat the cookie I will still like Carlos a lot.
