Y/N POVYesterday, I met the detective I've heard so much about Sherlock Holmes. As much I hate to admit it, the man was ingenious, and he knew it. That made him more the cockier.
John was very nice (kind of flirtatious) and he said I should come another time for tea. But Sherlock watched me drink my tea, crinkled his face then left. Puzzling both me and John.
I was ready to go and visit an old friend of mine. Molly Hooper. Me and her use to be pen pal buddies in middle school and since there we've been good friends. Also she promised to show me a body. From a recent murder case.
Quickly, I put my coat, slipped on some oxfords and wrapped my scarf around my neck. I didn't bother with makeup because it was like pudding and got in the way and frankly there was nobody I was trying to impress. Certainly not a dead body!

"Molly!" I shout excitedly.
"Y/N!" She squeals back, engulfing me in a tight hug.
"I've missed you, Molly! Where's the body?" I asked with a grin.
Molly seems more flustered and nervous than usual. "Err right this way. But there's someone else looking at it too."
I wonder with bewilderment who else would be looking at a dead body?
Molly leads me into the room, and there inspecting the body with a scrunched up nose is a curly haired demon. Sherlock Holmes.
"What in Gallifrey are you doing here?!" I snap at Sherlock.
"Y\N... I was about to ask the same question. Because I'm pretty sure you don't work here." He smirked.
"Neither do you, Mr." I sing back, taking a step closer to the body. Hmm she appears to be a female, early twenties, and.... a student.
"I'm a detective Y/N. And I come to make deductions to solve this murder case."
"Oh? Please care to enlighten me. Holmes." I tease.
"Certainly. First off, this young lady was having an affair with someone's spouse. Her clothes are obviously poor, but look at the jewelry that was found with her. These things cost a fortune. Something a college student could not afford. Who did it? It was most likely the wife." Sherlock said triumphantly.
"Good, Mr. Holmes. However, you are wrong about the wife being the killer. This girl was a lesbian and she has a name of a female of her hipbone, 'Leila' in cursive and it has much sentiment with it. Even has hearts so we eliminate it being her mother, sister etc. The jewelry clearly was choose by female, not male. Just look at the intricate designs. The way she was strangled and hit could not be done by a fragile housewife and thus leaving it to the husband. But where is he?Probably, off to a 'business trip'." I conclude, leaving Sherlock without words yet again.
"Brilliant. Brilliant." Sherlock grabs my hand and whispers, "I guess we have a killer to catch don't we?"
