It began with bacon.

It was a big plate of bacon mind you, not just a regular bacon lovers amount of excess bacon, but an actual stack of bacon at least one inch high. When Hester had requested a plate full of bacon and Jimmy had returned with only twelve pieces of bacon, it had not gone well for Jimmy.

"Where's the rest of it?" Hester had wanted to know, and Jimmy had started sweating immediately. His smile had vanished from his face, the smile that had been so genuine and his most charming, his most redeeming quality at least according to his mother. His tendency to sweat when under stress was his least endearing quality and there the sweat was, right on cue, bursting out to cover his upper lip in tiny beads that would eventually join forces before marching down his face in a dripping river. He could even feel the sweat beading on his forehead and desperately hoped that Hester couldn't see.

"The rest? You asked for extra bacon--"

Hester kept his eyes on Jimmy and spoke to Claude; his beautifully powerful lips thinned in displeasure, showing a tiny bit of pointed teeth inside that perfect mouth. He picked up a strip of bacon almost reverentially.

"Claude, this may require your attention. Please note that I am endeavouring to not kill or eat the young man despite an admittedly high level of irritation."

Claude, the good looking man who was sitting with Hester, instantly bounced up, a huge grin on his face that signalled a disaster was coming since his client was obviously about to explode and since he was the handler, he was going to handle the shit out of this situation.

He glanced around the diner where the other diners all picked at their food, all of them to a man staring in awe at the beautiful Hester. When he and Claude had swept into the place an hour earlier, all eyes had been on Hester and they had immediately been given the largest booth, the other waiters and the manager himself, practically throwing themselves at Hester, ignoring all of the other customers who could only watch in awe as they were graced by the presence that was Hester. Jimmy could tell immediately that there was something special about Hester, with his tall frame, undoubtedly all smoothly toned muscle that had no need for a gym, and that beautiful face, so chiseled

and perfect, the face of a movie star who made Brad Pitt look like Danny Trejo on a really, really bad day.

"Jimmy!" Claude the handler said, clapping him on the shoulder and forcing him to look away from the beautiful creature that was Hester. "Look at me Jimmy, I'm right over here."

"How do you know my name?"

"Nametag Jimmy. Right there. Now listen up please and whatever you do, do not look back at the table--" Jimmy glanced back at the table where Hester was cramming the bacon into his mouth. He had two huge handfuls and the bacon was vanishing rapidly. Jimmy had no doubt that Hester would be licking the plate clean--

Claude snapped his finger in front of Jimmy's face.

"Over here Jimmy," he said and Jimmy looked back to Claude.

"He's so beautiful. I just want to serve him and be close to him--"

"And if you do that, he's going to drain you of your blood and crunch your bones and neither of you is going to like it. You look stringy anyway."

"Can you please put in a good word for me? I can go do some pushups--"

Claude pinched the bridge of his nose hard. He had obviously been having a difficult night dealing with all kinds of idiots. It must come with the job, being the handler of such a beautiful and charming specimen of the human race. Jimmy could almost imagine that Hester got thronged with women throwing their panties at him everywhere he went. He suddenly wanted to go and find some panties to throw at Hester himself--
