"Doing good back there?" asked Neeran as Jyuo entered the cockpit of the ship.
"Fine," he said as he took the co-pilots seat. "Just getting used to having my A.I back again."
"I'm enjoying not having 10 different voices in my head," said Neeran. "It's very difficult to concentrate with all of those A.I talking at once. Four is a lot easier to manage."
"Carol, Savan and Sorel's?" asked Jyuo. "You still have them?"
"Of course I do," said Neeran. "Why wouldn't I?"
"I don't know," replied Jyuo as e returned his gaze outside and said nothing more.

"It's good to have you all back again," said Neeran, being honest with him.
"Serious?" asked Jyuo, with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah," said Neeran distantly. "It's kinda boring without you all."
"Boring suits me just fine," said Jyuo. "It's better than dealing with malicious governments trying to initiate mass planetary genocide against sub-human and alien species."
"Definitely," agreed Neeran.

To say the next couple of hours proved uneventful and boring as the team of seven had hoped would be completely incorrect.

Arrests and firing squads amidst an assembly of Imperial cadet graduates and initiates would be a much more accurate description.

Plus an extremely foul mouthed drill sergeant that made Neeran wonder how the hell he was even still alive in the time of the Empire.

"You came to us as failures and degenerates!" yelled the drill sergeant to the assembled Imperial cadets. "And after three years of training!"
"Maybe he's not that bad?" suggested Bronnick.
"You are still failures and degenerates!"
"Nope," replied Harron.
"Fuck every single one of you!"
"Well that's nice," muttered Coattra.
"Is that plan all ready to go?" asked Jyuo quietly to Neeran.
"Maybe," as she continued to fiddle with the mechanisms that locked the binders together.
"It's not," said Coattra.
Jyuo let out a continuous stream of mostly silent curses as the drill sergeant continued with his insulting drawl.
"Tomorrow you will make a decision that you will regret for the rest of your life!"

"Got it," whispered Neeran, as the binders behind her back went click and Theta flashed on behind her back.
"I did it," complained Theta, crossing his arms.
"Imps don't need to know about you," whispered Neeran.
"Use your A.I's to deactivate the binders," added Neeran as Theta returned to Neeran and she received a message from Zach.

'All ready to go,' he said. 'Waiting for your signal. Which is what by the way?'
'You'll know it,' replied Neeran with a smirk.
'Oh shit!' yelled Zach as Neeran cut their communication and leapt up to her feet and called for her weapons.
Her five live teammates beside her did the same as Zach deactivated the lights and the shouting within the building began to erupt.

But they were already gone.

Having already ascertained that they could escape through the roof, the team of seven had Force-leapt up into the roof and slipped out into the muggy Gorse night and disappeared into the depths of the mining city.

"That could have been better," said Jyuo as they looked back from one of the allies to make sure no one had followed them.
"Not the best way to get on planet," said Coattra.

"Freeze!"

"Scrap," whispered Neeran, as all six of them slowly raised their hands. The sound of two helmets being bashed together and bodies crumpling to the ground caused the seven to turn around and see what had happened.

Standing behind them with the two unconscious storm troopers at his feet was the very man the team of seven initially had gone to find.

Jax Briaxe.

"I can't leave you seven alone for five minutes, can I?"
