Chapter 9

**Aiden**

First thought that came to my mind was, my poor son. As soon as we walked through the doors, he rushed the both of us. He gripped my hand and I felt all his pain, Jasmine knelt down to his level running her hands over his face

"Baby boy calm down" She whispers softly "It was just a dream"

Kaleb sniffles, his eyes turning to me then back to Jasmine "But mum they killed you" Jasmine just smiles and kisses his forehead. I kneel beside her and pick him up into my arms

"Dad you have to stop them" He mumbles into my neck as I continue to run circles on his back "You have to" His voice turned into a soft whisper before he drifted off to sleep again

"Do you want to tuck him in?" Jasmine asks as I nod walking up the stairs. As I walked up the stairs towards his room, I could hear Jasmine and Lily speaking. She will tell me as soon as she sees its ok but when I heard something smash, Kaleb instantly shot up out of his bed looking around the room

"Dad" he whimpers. I pull him back onto my lap "Can I sleep in mums room?" As I pick him up and head to the door, it opens and there stands Jasmine with red eyes as if she were crying

"Where you going?" She asks

"He wants to go to your room" I say as she nods her head with a smile "There was a loud bang from downstairs and woke him up" She leads me out of Kalebs room and heads to hers. She opens the door for me letting me take him in.

"I will just go change" She grabs some clothes and heads into the ensuite.

"Dad can you stay?" Kaleb asks as I place him down on the bed

"If your mum says it is ok"

"It's fine, if he wants you to stay then thats cool" Jasmine says in a baggy tshirt and tights. She looked incredible in what she wore. Fresh face looked as though she had just washed it. I smile when she walks out of the room then shortly comes back in with a pair of track pants. She blushes throwing them at me. "Wear these to bed?" She says letting me walk into the bathroom to change. They smelt like her dad and sure enough he was probably handing them to her as soon as she walked out to ask. I smile removing my Tshirt and jeans, changing into the trackpants. I leave my singlet on and walk out placing my things on the dresser. I watch her eyes roam over my body and I see the lust in her eyes for a brief moment before she blinks it away and smiles

I couldn't help but smirk at her. Kaleb was already fast asleep tucked into Jasmine as she patted beside Kaleb.

"He won't know I've gone, I don't have to stay" She gave me a soft smile shaking her head

"No I... I want you to stay too" She says as I climb in beside Kaleb. He instantly grabs hold of my face keeping his palm there "He does that while he sleeps, so he does know you will be gone"

"Tell me" She sighs brushing his hair back

I take her hand and the warmth of the mate bond spreads throughout our hands to our bodies. She looks down at Kaleb and I can see a small tear fall from her eyes. My fingers catch it before it lands on our son and she smiles.

"He has the sight like my mum, she says they start off as dreams until he is older and will start seeing them at random... I was hoping it wasn't him, I was hoping I never have any of her magic either but we did... That's part of the reason why I stayed away, I kinda didn't want my mum to find out but he hasn't had any until now for the last couple of months" I wasn't in the least bit in shock, I had this strange feeling it was something along those lines

"Does your mum know about you?" I ask as she shakes her head "Do you plan on telling her?" She shakes her head again

"I haven't needed to use my powers for anything but I do practise, Kalebs visions come as nightmares... And he usually draws it the next day, he has an amazing memory and his drawings are detailed... Takes a while, you want to know something?" I nod my head at her as I gaze at our son between us "He use to draw you but never knew your name"
