** Aiden **

I could feel her walls purposely drop in the mind link. And it pissed me off.

Richard is one of my best friends who happen to have slept with my mate before she knew we were mates. So right now that she is alone talking to him is winding me up.

"Watch them" I order some of the pack warriors. I could tell Marcus and Hayden knew something was wrong because I couldn't stop growling. Growling in frustration.

Something was off, completely wrong. I felt a slight prick on my collarbone, an annoying little pain.

Something is definitely wrong. As I run into the pack house I could smell Jasmine and Richard. More Richard at the moment.

I was beyond livid, my punishment will be severe if anything has happened to her while in his company.

I finally smelt them in my office and I slammed open the door to find my mate trying to help Richard up. She had blood coming down her mouth, dripping onto her shirt.

My first instinct was to check on her but when I saw the bite mark on Richard. I couldn't contain anything and I'm pretty sure everyone felt it

"Help me get him to Aimee" She struggles to carry his close to dead weight

"YOU MARKED HIM?! YOU ARE MINE!" I yelled. There was a look of confusion in her eyes when I grab Richard and throw him across the room

"AIDEN! NOOOO!" She cries trying to run over to him but I grab her from around the waist and pin her to the wall. I growled full of rage as I stare at her bloody face. How could she? Why would she? To me?

"YOU PLAYED ME FOR A FOOL, YOU SAID YOU LOVE ME LET ME MARK YOU AND THEN YOU MARK SOMEONE ELSE"

I hear a whimper in the corner of the room "Aiden, Jas"

"I WILL KILL YOU" I yell and release Jasmine from my hold and rush to grab Richard, aiming at his throat.

Before I even get to touch Richard I'm held back, not by hands but by a person so much stronger I can practically feel her hold on me. And that's when I finally feel hands on me. I'm trying to thrash around and bite, growl at anyone that touches me.

I see Marcus and Hayden pressing me down to the floor. I barely look up and see Jasmine leaving the room with Richard and Aimee.

"I can't believe you betrayed me"

"If you shift in this state you will hurt her Aiden" Hayden says

"There has to be an explanation, she loves you" Marcus says

I growl and bark when I feel another two sets of hands come and hold me down

As I try to kick them off me, I notice Blair and Ethan. They both have sympathetic looks on their faces but only faces in my mind, and those are of my mate and best friend whom I haven't seen in a couple of weeks

I catch her scent and turn to the main door "I can't even look at you right now" I could feel her anger. I don't know why she's angry.

I growl when Blair and Ethan yell for her to stop but it's too late. I shift, barring my teeth to see, seething with anger. I would never hurt her, just scare her and make her feel the pain I feel right now

"You will be begging for forgiveness when I'm through Aiden!" She yelled and that shocked me

I just continued to growl and bare my teeth, how dare she get angry with me! "Don't you dare growl at me when you know nothing of what I did" Her Luna was stepping out, I was proud she was using it but on me? I could feel her anger and it was pissing me off because I was causing it. I needed to take this anger out on something
