It had been almost three weeks since Jay disappeared. While Greg had to work twice as hard to make sure the business was up to par, he never stopped his efforts to find Jay. He was at the police station everyday and continued to check his home as well. Although there has still been no signs of Jay, he hasn't given up hope. Alicia, on the other hand, is driving herself crazy. Instead of keeping herself busy like Greg is doing, she's looking through all of her pictures of Jay and her, listening to all the voice mails he left just over a month ago before the disappearance, and blaming herself, which is causing her to slip into a deep depression. Cali just doesn't know what to do at all. She finally was able to bring her baby back home, but she's torn on what to do. She hates to see Alicia so heartbroken and sad all the time, and she worries that Greg isn't showing enough emotion. He's running himself ragged trying to find him and not taking any time to get his emotions out.

Of course she knows that he's a man and that they have their pride but he hasn't cried or gotten angry, and she knows it's good to let it all out sometimes. He won't even talk about the situation when he's not looking for him or talking to the police.

While this was happening back home, Jay was in Puerto Rico. When he ran out from Greg's place he bought a one way plane ticket under a stolen identity. Before he left though, he went with Mercedes to get the abortion and after that gave her some money and went to catch his flight. After hearing the love of his life say those dreaded words he vowed to never come back.

When he got to Puerto Rico, he changed his name. He was no longer Jaylen Kareem Watson, he was now Royce Gonzalez. He knew the Spanish Language, and he could pass for a Latino so he would have no problem started over.

Although he was worried about his business back home, he knew Greg would do just fine. They had been doing this for years, he thought of no one better to run things back at his old home than Greg. As far as Alicia went, he didn't even want to think about her. She had broken his heart into pieces and was the reason he decided to leave in the first place. If she hated him then he didn't even want to be around her or anywhere near her. He felt as though he was no longer needed and he caught a plane never to look back again.

Sometimes he wishes he could call to let everyone know he was okay. But he decides against it every time. He has a plan and he knows that it will work and he knows that in the end everyone that he once knew will be fine, better off without him in the picture.

Although this seems like it is the end, this is just the beginning. Cali, Greg, Alicia and "Jay" will be reunited sooner than any of them think, and its bound to cause an explosion.
