Chapter 3

Alicia P.O.V

Today was the first day of school, sadly. I never liked school because I was always getting picked on and after I got my life together and lost weight the bullying stopped but I still had no friends. Weird right? But school is for education not friends although sometimes I do wish things were different. Sitting in the back of the school library for lunch does get old sometimes.

I was walking to my English class when I bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see you, I'm sorry" I said to the girl, I just didn't want her to hit me so I tried to walk around before she did.

"Hey.." She called. Oh shit I really need to stop looking down when I walk. I turned around slowly. "Don't look so scared, it was an accident it's fine!" She laughed. I did a relieved smile no one's ever been that understanding especially not a female in this school. 

Caliana P.O.V

Whoever that girl was, was so pretty way too pretty to have her head down and she looked so scared smh. Just when I was about to walk to my English class I got that feeling again and ran to the bathroom.

After emptying my stomach I rinsed my mouth and washed my hands. If you're wondering, yes, I'm pregnant. When I told my parents they kicked me out and sent me to my grandma.

Anyways, I finally made my way to my English class and of course the teacher put me on the spot. "Ahh you must be the new student Caliana Hernandez, welcome umm there's a seat right there next to Alicia." So that's her name. I went to go sit by her and she just looked so timid, I decided that I would talk to her after class.

When the bell rung she got up quickly and nearly ran out of class I had to hurry up and catch her. "Alicia!" I yelled to her.

"Yea.." so timid. "Its my first day can you show me to my next class please?" I asked.

"Uhh sure let me see your schedule" I handed it to her. "Oh we have all the same classes" at that moment I felt pretty relieved. "Oh okay cool can I walk with you then?" She simply nodded.

After the odd silence I decided to speak. "How come you're so quiet?" I asked curious to see how she would answer.

"Lets just say I'm not the most popular person. I don't have any friends." She said as we arrived in class. There's just something about her I think we could be really good friends if I tried hard enough. Lets be honest I'm gonna need a friend I'm the new girl and soon people are gonna know I'm pregnant. Having a friend would make this a less painful experience.
